Go to Lolis on Benjamin- rated the best tacos in the nation AND they have great customer service. Los Comparres has HORRIBLE RUDE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. Dont buy the living social- they wont redeem your voucher. I purchased their living social deal, I called to redeem, the owner screamed that he never started a living social and that I am going to have to figure it out. This is the problem with small businesses, they dont treat the customers that helped get them where they are with any gratitude. I have been going here since they opened and no one would buy from them. I purchased so frequently that they were on my speed dial. Back then they treated customers with kindness and respect. Now the owner literally screamed at me and was so exceptionally rude about something that was completely out of my control. He claims he has never heard of living social and doesnt know how his business got on there. Honestly thats not what made me so angry, what really bothered me is the way he yelled at me like a dog. Never going there again.

If you want bad service, I suggest you come here! Most awful service! I ordered a burrito, two tacos and an horchata at 11:37 am. By 12:30 I still did not have my order, AN HOUR LATER?!?! When I did get my food they had only given me a portion of the order, only the burrito, i had paid for tacos and burrito! They asked me to wait for tacos, I am sorry I am not waiting another hour for tacos. To break the camels back the server stated he was unable to give me my horchata that I had ordered an hour ago because they had ran out, I returned the food and requested a refund. I am still hungry; just ridiculous. To say the least, I am very disappointed with their service! This location has no business sense.

Los Comparres Mexican Food truck has disturbingly dirty, chairs, tables, floors, and takes way to long to serve food. If you take a look around at how filthy the place is, youll probably lose your appetite. Its located in a really sketchy part of town. I called ahead and placed my order because I heard it can take over a half hour and even with calling ahead I had to wait over 10min in a really sketchy area with mosquitoes biting me. If I didnt already pay and wasnt already very hungry I wouldve left. They give you a lot of food for the money and its cheap with a Groupon but I have to question the cleanliness and safety of the place.

First, when an Owner of a restaurant says to me "we hope you enjoy our food, my friend", were off to a great start! Blink and youll miss the place, so pay close attention and youll be oh so glad you did! The chicken burrito was a delicious behemoth! Amazing grilled chicken wrapped up all cozy like with beans, cheese, lettuce, cilantro, and avocado in a scrumptiously soft flour tortilla that must as big as a hubcap. The red hot sauce they included was just the right amount of flavor and heat. This place is amazing! If youre a fan of Mexican food (and who amongst us isnt?) Id count this as a must try. I cant wait to go back.

Not the best looking place but, serve the best darn tacos in Hillsborough by a long shot. They are also the most affordable with authentic mexican cuisine, it almost feels like we were in Mexico. Lolis,Taco bus,Taco son,carmelitas, tacos gone mobile eat your heart out! I dont mind old dirty plastic chairs as I am not eating from them. If you want a fancy place to eat this is not it. But if you want authentic tacos and best tasting tacos....Look no further as you will not be disappointed.

The negative review by Brian M. is not justified by any means except for the Groupon comment. My food tastes great, came out very quickly, and the area isnt sketchy. Its in a parking lot and it looks rough around the edges but it never claims to be a fancy restaurant. "Local guides" who think this area is sketchy must think so cause theyre used to modernity opposed to the older areas of tampa. If you dont have your nose in the air and left the high horse at home youll love this place.

Guys behind counter were very friendly and accommodating. Ordered 2 steak burritos (both of which had lots of steak) and a chicken quesadilla, which took maybe 6-7 minutes to bring out. Very reasonable prices for amount of food that you get. Im a big portion eater and one steak burrito and half the quesadilla left me extremely satisfied. Dont judge this place on its looks or location, its legit Mexican food youve been craving.

My first visit I got 4 tacos. All different meats. The chorizo was very tasty. All were light on the meat compared to other pics posted from other guests. The next 2 times I got marinated pork burrito and then a steak burrito. Both were excellent. I WILL keep going back!!! Very tasty and filling burritos!!! Taco Sun also very good, just too far away. No more Bus for me.

FYI this is a food truck. The food was by far the best authentic Mexican food I have had in Tampa. They make everything Fresh and its made to order. The quality of meats and produce is very high! I definitely would recommend to anyone. Bought Groupon voucher $20 worth of food for $11! Great deal and customer service is great as well!

Delicious, fresh and reasonably priced. So good this has become my familys go to spot for Mexican food and we loooove it. Tacos, burritos, salads, tostadas, ceviche.. Tried them all and they never disappoint. Easily put that other much talked about and roach infested bus down the road to shame. Skip that name and go here.

Although this was our first time going to Los Comparres, we know it is not going to be the last. The ceviche was to die for (so fresh and bright, subtle lime flavors), homemade hot sauces which tickled my taste buds, and the service was outstanding!!! Cant wait to go back and try more food items

This little food truck is always parked in the back of the parking lot between the gas station and the skating rink. It is very easy to miss. It easily has the best burritos and tacos in Tampa. If youre from CA and miss mexican food, this is a great place to get your fix.

Solid tacos from a funky permanently parked food truck. Always a wait because the kitchenl is so small. If youre in a hurry this is not the place to go. Original authentic taco restaurants are popping up everywhere but this one is solid. 4 tacos for $8 is their special.

Ive been here twice with friends who live in the area and must say I really enjoyed it both times. The one downfall is that the service is pretty slow. The good food, tasty margaritas, and a cute location make me look forward to coming back.

The food was great. Everything is affordable. Also the drinks are delicious and there is natural made drinks like mango and lemonade. They were very polite and welcoming. I recommend this place if you want Mexican food. Its the best!
