My family and I had made wild wing cafe part of our HHI tradition. I can tell you that after tonights experience we will not be returning. Our evening started off by calling to see if they took reservations or had call ahead seating since we had a very large party. The hostess on the phone said they do not take them. So we left a little earlier to put our name on the list. When we got there they said it would be 45-60 minutes, which was not a problem. So our family sat around and caught up with each other. An hour and 15 mins later we still did not have a table.... We were extremely frustrated when they said it would be an additional hour wait because they had to seat the call ahead seating... That part made us even more frustrated because they said they didnt take reservations or call ahead seating. So after speaking to an extremely rude manager we finally sat down at separate tables about 2 hours from when we originally arrived. Our waitress started off and attentive but that did not last. It took us 40 minutes to get our appetizers. Then another 30 minutes to get our salads. After that it took us an additional 20 minutes for our entrees after the server said our food would be out in 10 minutes. Finally after over an hour of sitting at our table we were able to eat. It was difficult to eat so late because we had small children who were already asleep. Once we were seated the manager did not stop by to follow up with us. I am extremely disappointed with the service from the hostess to the kitchen. By the time we sat down to order the place wasnt busy and it made no sense for the ticket turn around to take so long. You think with being a family friendly spot that they would know to have a fast ticket time. If you would like to wait to eat over an hour then this place is for you. If that is not what you prefer I would recommend finding a different restaurant. Tonight was an extremely frustrating experience. Wild wing cafe I am extremely upset

Last night we called ahead of time and asked how long a party of 6 would be. At 5pm we were told on the phone it would be 30 minutes. We got there around 5:45 and were told the wait would be about 35-45 min. We were ok with that and went to they bar for drinks to wait for our table. An hour later we asked the hostess for the status and were told we were the next ones to be seated and they just had to clean a 6-person booth. They sat another party there instead. We asked the bartender if the booths in the lounge were first come, first serve and were told the hostess would have to seat us. The "manager" cleaned the booths and then we saw that same hostess sat other parties in the booths in the lounge (there were 2 booths in the lounge which she sat others at). We noticed there was a single man sleeping - yes sleeping in the booth. We approached the hostess again and were told we were next and they were just waiting for another party to leave so they could have a free booth. Wouldnt you know she sat another party there?!? We told her we wanted to speak to the manager. She obviously didnt care and went out back and said she told him to come out where we were. We waited and he didnt show up. We went out back and saw he was working the "to-go" area. He finally came over and was completely oblivious to what was happening. By this time we had waited for 1.5 hours and were lied to repeatedly. There were 2 other large parties who had also walked out while we waited, including a party of 14 and a party of 6. The manager didnt acknowledge that they were short staffed and he wouldnt acknowledge there was a problem with the hostess outright lying to us over and over. We left without eating. Afterwards we found out that this place was recently acquired under new management and that the new management hasnt been up to snuff. Dont waste your time - this place needs an overhaul or it should become a shelter for people to sleep at.

It was "alright". In years past my family has always always always made it a mission to go to this Wild Wing as they have better food and better wings than the one in Bluffton. We have always had fantastic food in years past from this location, and it was always hard to get in the door and sit down because it was slammed. Not this time though, we went at 6 oclock in the middle of the week, in the middle of the season. We were one family of about six families inside. We stood at the Hostess desk 5ever, until the hostess who was standing at the bar noticed us and sat us. We were crammed into this little table up against the wall, while meanwhile we noticed several booths open. Easy fix. The waitress was great. She kept our drinks filled, was respectful and courteous, and was very helpful. The food was sub-par at best. We ordered a 40 platter of wings. The wings were smaller than remembered, and having only 10-12 was not very filling. Another thing we noticed, is that they were pretty dry. The wings just didnt have a ton of sauce/seasoning on them and were pretty lackluster to be frank. Its chicken, so its expensive, and the check said 70-80 dollars. It just felt like we were ripped off, because the wings were tiny and dry, and it just felt odd to pay 75 dollars for sub-par wings. After leaving the place, it was pretty obvious why the parking lot was empty, and why the restaurant was empty. Very disappointed in this restaurant that we once loved. If you are on HHI on vacation and you really want wings or cajun food, just try and wait till you get home, or go to Frankie Bones, save yourself a trip to this place. Seriously. Save yourself a trip.

I just ate at the Wild Wings in HH, I usually go to the Bluffton one because of the live music & great service. Tonight I had the worse experience Ive ever had at any restaurant Ive been to. First of all the server forgot the burger my brother order, she never apologized or said anything about it, thinking maybe we forgot about it? When we got the check we saw we didnt get charged so she erased it. Most of the serves dont write down the orders but for future reference they NEED TO so stuff like this doesnt happen! Second, there was a hair in my wings.. The young black lady (server) when she brought the food out we never saw her again, never offered us refills on our drinks, never asked if everything was okay or anything, she didnt come by the table at all. She would just pass through like if we werent her table at all. The table behind us was a table of white males; she brought their food out and few minutes later she went to their table and asked if they were doing okay.... Im Hispanic myself, I do not know if I should take it as racist thing or she was just embarrassed that she forgot to put in the burger, I really dont know. I had to get the other server for my check and 2 boxes to go, because she was too busy sitting down at the banch by the entrance. The young man was nice to check us out and even though he shouldnt had apologized for his coworkers mistakes he did. This is absolutely the worse experience Ive ever had! We did not leave a tip AT ALL because she DID NOT DESERVE IT!!
