Overall, the food we had will not warrant a repeat visit from my family. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere had a very New Orleans feel to it (which is different from a Louisiana feel IMO). I recommend sitting on the back porch as it can get a little loud inside. We started off with the alligator bites and fried pickles. Both were done excellent and Id recommend trying them if you decide to go. Unfortunately, the main dishes fell very short of their mark and price tag. In fact, the dishes were prepared so poorly that had it been tolerable, I would have gladly given the restaurant 4 stars. I dont want to give the impression that Im one of those picky eaters that will send a meal back over every little thing. In fact, I still paid the bill, left the tip, and went home without ever saying a word to the staff. The crawfish étouffée was simply not edible. There was no seasoning, (which I couldve fixed myself) but the sauce itself was thin and clear to the point it looked like water. The vegetables were not sautéed at all, so each bite was a mouthful of crunchy bell pepper, onion, and celery. If youve ever had good étouffée, youll know the veggies should enhance the flavors of the dish, not take over and be the only thing you notice. It was literally like biting into a straight raw onion or bell pepper. On the bright side, they did load the bowl down with plenty of crawfish. The gumbo wasnt a cajun style, but was creole (tomatoes and okra used heavily). However, per cup there were only a few pieces of chicken, and maybe two slices of sausage. Finally, the fried crawfish tails and the grilled chicken (Marie Laveau) were both fine. I would get those again if I were to return. As a side note: I heard they were doing a festival earlier in the day, so maybe their normal crew wasnt in the kitchen, but I still cant forgive the fact that we paid $20/plate for a single dish that ruined an otherwise pleasant experience.

Ate here Saturday night, was told ahead of time there was a 20 min wait for a table, so we went to the bar and had drinks. We got our table and was told there would be a long wait for food, possibly an hour. We said that was fine since it was obviously very busy, and we had no problem waiting. Afterwards the owner came by and explained how everything is made fresh, nothing is frozen so that also adds in to wait time. We will definitely be back. If you cant understand that a busy restaurant will be behind then stay at home. We also had the crawfish and it was absolutely wonderful. Ive been to new Orleans a few times and i can say this place is a close match. The paintings and pictures are admirable, and the food was definitely worth the wait!

Its an interesting looking place, especially for Easley. The waitress was fairly quick about getting us our drinks but it went downhill from there. The food was very slow in arriving and cold. We ordered fried crawfish as an appetizer but they brought alligator instead. We cancelled that. My husband ordered gumbo/rice which tasted like canned vegetable soup with sausage in and was extremely watery. We both ordered crawfish etouffee which was just awful. Very watery, very very bland and the crawfish had obviously been frozen for a very long time and was over cooked. If you enjoy true cajun food DO NOT EAT HERE!. If they served this crap within a 100 miles of New Orleans theyd be shot.

Definitely not going back to the Bleu VooDoo! I got ingnored by the rude bartender. I was told she couldnt order my dinner and wait until 8:00PM ( I got there at 7:45PM, I wouldnt mind to wait if told at the hostess stations but it wasnt manned at all) because the had a party of 20 upstairs. Still I didnt get my adult beverages 10 minutes later while we were seated at the bar. Meanwhile, the bartender is bringing out food for the people next to us and still ignoring us. I have lived in Easley for the past 12 years and I like to keep my business local. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to plan rides with the guys (Greenville HOG 4800) and now its out of the question!

Best restaurant in the upstate!! Im not a friend or family or anything resembling that. I have been to Bleu Voodoo many (20-30) times and have had a wonderful experience nearly everytime. The only time I had the slightest complaint was when I had very new employee was our server. I didnt voice my complaint to anyone. I understand that a new person has a learning curve. Bleu Voodoo is without a doubt the best place to take your significant other for a wonderful meal, atmosphere, music, and drinks. No other place like it in Easley. Bleu Voodoo is the total package!

Must be friends writing the reviews. Most of the people I asked about it said theyd never go back. I see why. Service is slow, staff is hit or miss on attitude and the food is OK at best. Not worth the prices they have listed and I sampled 3 different dishes. The look of it is a unique set up but it fails to be unique in any other aspect. I live over an hour away and had I not been there someone other than myself Id have felt like I wasted my time. It may seem harsh but a $50 dinner for 2 people at a party is a lot of money to waste on disappointment.

I love this place, hands down my favorite restaurant in Easley !!! Its the kind of place that one would not expect to find in Easley, SC but Im so glad its here. The atmosphere is amazing, the food & drinks are great. The rack of ribs are HUGE!!! It does get VERY crowded on Friday nights, and can take quite awhile to get food. Pricing is in line with that of Copper River! I highly recommend to try it at least once.

Crawfish Étouffée was excellent. My BLT-P was absolutely fabulous. The tomato was grilled which added a completely different taste to your ordinary BLT. The pimento cheese had pickled jalapenos in it and created an unique blend but wasnt hot which I was glad. I do not like spicy, hot food. By the way, the Banana Fosters Cheesecake was one of the best cheesecakes weve ever had. A great place to eat!

Went for a friends birthday 3 of 5 burgers were messed up and she didnt even get her burger until 2 hrs after we got there and we didnt even have so much as a manager come by to offer explanation we were all very exited about the food but were very dissatisfied and barely ate by the time our food got there and the messed up burgers had to be gotten to go because of how long it took horrible experience

These guys went all out for their decor and I hope it pays off. It reminds me of Vortex burger in Atlanta without the crowds. Service was friendly and prompt and the menu items were adequately priced. My burger was a little on the greasy side, but I will definitely be back. I hope they change up the menu and get a better variety of beers.

Delicious! Terrific atmosphere! When you go, make sure you take a look at the upstairs as well. My husband and I ordered cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and desert...the food was delicious and the price was less than we expected. We will definately return! Anyone passing through needs to try this.
