This place sucked. I ordered their Shrimp appetizer, which was recommended, and it was fabulous. Then I ordered a filet mignon and crab cake. The filet was flat, way over cooked (I ordered medium rare) and I was unimpressed. The bartender/waiter asked me what I thought. I gave him my honest opinion and said that it tasted like a sirloin and not a filet by any means, but it was OK. He then asked me if I wanted another and I stated NO at least four times. He then brings some big shot manager over who makes a big deal that he had my food redone. At this point I was done and could care less. It was actually embarrassing the way they played this out in front of other guests. I took all of the food and brought it to a poor person at the catholic church downtown. I will never, ever come back again. Horrible customer service. First off they dont bring you what you order, but overcharge you for it, then they make a huge production out of it. If I could give one star I would. Food is good, service is trash. Go elsewhere, so many other places in the area are much better. At least some poor person got a decent meal, I didnt check his to see if it was overcooked :)

My wife and I eat at the South Tampa location on Henderson Blvd often. Always the same. Outstanding. We have never had a meal that wasnt excellent, to say the least. Last night I had the sea bass with mango salsa, one of my favorites. My wife had the spaghetti squash, and I have had it at different restaurants, I really havent enjoyed it. I tried hers last night and it was delicious. Your staff are always attentive, extremely friendly and accommodating. They are truly interested in making your dining experience a pleasurable one. Kudos to your chefs since every meal we have had has been terrific. I cannot offer you any suggestions on how to improve your restaurant because it is already outstanding. I hope the rest of the people in this area, and elsewhere, give it a try, because if they havent, they are missing out on a wonderful dining experience.

Consistently the worst Bonefish I have ever visited. This coming from a former server of Bonefish Grill in Sarasota for two years while in college. I love the other locations, and I know exactly what is expected. Unfortunately I have come here too many times, hoping that there would be a turnaround in quality and service. A couple examples of my horrible experiences are having a shrimp in the calamari when specifically stating my wife has a shellfish allergy, waited 35 minutes to be greeted, RAW hamburger when asked for medium well, and brown soggy lettuce in my salad...just the tip of the iceberg. Simply horrible service and food, and management doesnt care. I am not a picky eater, and I am empathetic to servers, but there is no excuse for the poor overall quality of this restaurant.

Had bang bang shrimp and bang bang chicken. They were phenomenal. Downhill from there. Ordered a burger super well done +avacado and bacon. Came out medium at best. Sent it back and got an entirely different burger this time with the wrong toppings and the wrong sides again medium at best (they did ask me to check it and I said it was ok just to avoid a further fiasco as everyone else was done eating and I was with a 3 year old). I ordered another dirty Vodka Martini (first one was great) while waiting for my food to come back out and what I got was something sweet like a flavored Vodka. Un drinkable. Service was mediocre. Walking away hungry and sober spending North of $100 for a family dinner is not my idea of a good time

I havent been to Bonefish in a while but am very surprised at the drop in the quality of food and poor table service. Our server failed to bring bread even after being asked and never brought a birthday cake requested before hand for our celebration. Cocktails are watered down and even the special of the day was terrible. The Dynamite Salmon-wood grilled Wild Sockeye Salmon topped with dynamite aioli was a thin cut of fish on a bed of spinach. They over did it. The aoli doesnt work. Maybe it was the cumin, maybe it was a bad piece of fish, but whatever the ingredients, its an absolute fail. Its unfortunate. Bonefish used to be a go-to for seafood. Service formerly was good and cocktails at least an average pour.

"If You Start with Bang Bang Shrimp and End with Lilys Chicken, You Will Leave Happy." My partner and I began our "date night" with the Bang Bang Shrimp, a hearty portion of Bonefishs signature appetizer - perfect for sharing. BB is crispy shrimp, tossed in a creamy, spicy sauce. For the main course, my partner enjoyed the pork chop and I ordered the Lilys Chicken. LC is served with fresh Goat cheese, spinach, artichoke hearts + lemon basil sauce. And, with a double side of broccoli, the Bonefish experience becomes one to remember. And our server, Cory, added to the experience with his attentiveness throughout our meal. This location is superb for a romantic night out. Enjoy!

My fiance and I came to celebrate our anniversary. We got there 30 minutes before they closed and still everything was great. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. She didnt even mention us keeping her a few minutes late! Service was awesome. Very fast. The food was excellent. The sauces were perfectly seasoned, my steak was perfectly cooked, and everything tasted very fresh. Our waitress asked if we had ever been before and we told her no, and at the end of our meal the manager came out to our table to ask how our experience was and thanked us for being first-time customers. He even gave us a cupon for our next visit! What a fantastic place, we will definetley be back!

The bang bang shrimp is the biggest reason I wanted to go here last night, which was great as usual. I gave 3 stars instead of 5 for two reasons, we made a reservation for 7:30 and we were not seated until 7:50, which is no big deal, but then we were not waited on until about 8. I ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl which was mostly just these weird dry noodle things. It was described as chicken in top of rice but it was probably 80% dried noodles that you would get out of a bag. Our waitress was very nice and my friend ordered a burger and fries which was good. We mostly only went because we had a gift card, I probably wont go back and spend my own money on it.

A terrible experience. Our server told us it was Martini Monday - so I ordered a martini. Our bill listed the martini at full price. Chris the manager came to inform us that it was NOT Martini Monday and our server was mistaken. We explained that we only ordered a Martini because we were told it WAS Martini Monday. Chris abruptly took our bill to make the correction "this time" because wed only had "one martini". His confrontational attitude left us feeling that WED done something wrong and that we were somehow trying to take advantage of the restaurant. Horrible customer service!

Horrible service. Im not a picky person at all. Very slow service considering restaurant want busy. Waitress was completely inattentive.. did not stop once during long wait for food to ask if I wanted more hot water for my tea. Once French toast arrived...not really warm. Kinda disappointing for first time experience.. Especially since friends told me it was good...not for brunch. Also, lights out in mens restroom... Host wasnt sure if light bulb was out or something else..told me to use my phone flashlight. Are you kidding, LMAO
