Old Bag of Nails Sports pub decor with plenty of TVs, a nice long bar, booths and tables. All on one level now and handicap accessible. The menu is very readable and there is enough light to see clearly. Overall a pleasant appearance, solid and sturdy tables and chairs. One small thing was that the wood or laminate floors seemed to be a little slippery, not horribly so, but anyone who is unsteady on their feet would definitely notice. Service is good, you are met by a host or hostess and seated quickly, wait staff introduced themselves and asks for your drinks, then appetizers, followed by the rest of the order. After my usual pain in the butt requests, extra dressing, extra napkins, yada, yada. They got it right, good show. If you want ketchup or extra sauces or condiments you will need to ask your waiter/waitress for them. Prices are reasonable for good pub fare. I did not see or order anything that stood out as expensive for the venue. Do not expect them to compete with fast food specials and dollar menus, after all this is a full service pub with many beers and ales in bottles and on tap. Wine and full bar also. Bathrooms were clean, serviced, and well lit. Stalls large enough and in-line with the rest of the decor scheme. The Food is exceptionally good, served fresh cooked and hot with unique twists. I recommend the fish and chips, the boneless wings, the crab cakes, hamburgers, sandwiches, and the steak fries. The regular fries are OK, but the steak fries are better in my opinion. Nothing is over sauced and the fried food is of course greasy. The onion rings are exceptionally large and good. The boneless wings are actually lightly coated and chunks of real chicken breast, not some preprocessed crap, they are my favorite. Portions are large, if you order a salad expect a big plate. There is plenty on every plate they serve. I like that a lot. Overall this is one of the better choices you can make for casual dining with a very large assortment of alcohol and menu choices, their seafood items are very tasty and some good extra point things, like the malt vinegar on the tables. I wish they had ketchup bottles on the table. The Greek salad is very good. Oh, and the floors are not slippery anymore, Good Job.

Just came from Pub 49, what a disappointment. When my wife and I pulled onto the lot, there were 3 cars. We hesitated,(should have turned around) . It was 8 pm on Wed. July 24 th. We were the only people in the restaurant side of the building. Again we should have taken the hint. . The menu has a nice blend of choices. I ordered the 3 layer meat sandwich, I ask the waitress if the fries were fresh cut, she said yes they are, but, we dont have any potatoes. Strange to say the least. If you have fresh cut fries and you are out of potatoes, cant you send someone to Krogers and get a bag. Sad ,very sad, no management, so I got the pub chips. when I got my order the pub chips had been fresh sliced ( scratching my head now, because I always though fresh cut fries were made of potatoes) but what do I know. Now my wife, she ordered a diet pepsi, when she got it, it was very flat, she told the waitress, and she said it was because they had just opened a new case of cans, and they were warm, I advised the waitress to put the ice in after she pours the drink, in order to keep it from foaming and ruining the carbonation, she responded by saying I didnt know that. My wife took a sweetened tea, it was very good. My wife ordered a Cheeseburger with pub chips , ( must have found 2 potatoes) .I want to remind you we were the only 2 ppl in the restaurant side , it took over 30 minutes to complete the order. My 3 layer sandwich was very good,(the meat blend was excellent) the bread was soggy, it looked like someone tried to toast the bread, it came out with no browning on either side. My wifes cheeseburger was way over cooked and the bun was stale. Potato, and bread problems, staples of any restaurant, and a major problem at this restaurant. The ranch dipping sauce for the pub chips was nothing but water and had no taste (. trying to stretch food cost to 10 percent). First impressions mean a lot , We now know why no one was there, at best the food is average. In todays completive food market , you have to stand above your competition, the owners of this establishment dont have a clue. very sad, this pace will not survive. I wish them well, they have a lot of work to do.

Well, over the last couple months, we have been going to OBON every week for the fish dinner, fish is,great, service on the other hand.. not so much. Was in again last night, server came right to us when we got there for drink order, however waited almost a half hour for our 2 fish dinners, an they were not busy, maybe 8 tables in the whole place, with about 5 servers running around. Once we finally got our dinners, he never checked on us after, once he finally did come back, ask if we were ready for check, didnt offer more fish, dessert, so we stated we wanted more fish, all this time, my tea is almost empty, an my boyfriends glass had been empty for quite some time,.. now I work in this industry, so I know how it all works, the servers are always nice, but need better training, and need to focus more on the customers needs.

I went there on Feb 23rd around 6pm with my stepson. To start we were seated in the booth closest to the door so every time the door opened, cold air would come in. Our waitress had long delays between refills and was not attentive at all. We ordered the Onion Rings as an appetizer and let me just say they were the worst onion rings I have ever had. They were soggy and rubbery and seemed not fully cooked. I ordered the Fish and Chips which was surprisingly good. But my stepson ordered the NY strip steak at medium rare and he said it was like eating a leather shoe. No manager to be found. Waitress checked on us maybe once! If you are considering going to this place, safe yourself the time and money because we will never eat here again.

Requested to sit outside. Table top was 1inch tiles. Majority were lose or missing so they would stick to our beverage and pull off. Appetizer looked as though it thrown together and given thirty seconds in oven. Was cold and stale when it arrived at our table. Main dinner (cheeseburger and cheese steak) were over cooked and dry. Then when we got the bill what we were charged was not the same as what was on the menu. Manager took 20% off and didnt say a word. Will not be back.

Im not a fan of leaving any stars at all. The bartender misplaced my money i gave her and the manager didnt have time to talk to us. The main office didnt care for my opinion. And they dont have any cameras in the store at all because its unethical to watch a camera to see if their bartenders steal your money.

I love the down-home friendly atmosphere. I always order one of the great seafood specialty items and its always fresh and tasty. The waitresses are friendly, knowledgeable, and pretty, too. They always say for the best food "eat where the locals eat," and the locals know this is a great place!
