Ive been going to this restaurant since I was in my teens. I love the fact that they now do breakfast on Sundays. Nothing like breakfast with a Cantonese flair. Their prices have gone up quite alot in the past 5-6 years but then again I guess everything has. They dont skimp on portions though. I love to dine in as the food brought to your table is really fresh and hot. They will also listen to you and cook to order. It doesnt appear as if anything is pre-made or reheated. Take out is great but wait time does seem to be a little long, even for small orders.

Dont judge a book by its cover. The decor hasnt changed in 30 years and they still have their "no cell phone" signs up everywhere but I have been coming here since birth and my family came before that. The food is out of this world. Always quality ingredients, always large portions, always quick. This is a family owned restaurant and they put so much love into the food and love their return customers. Ive had Chinese food all over the county but its New Canton dream about when I think about Chinese food.

I came to new canton based on the google reviews posted here. They were fairly accurate. The rice was rice, the chicken fingers were the best Ive ever had, the boneless spare ribs were below average, and the general Tsao chicken was very good. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good Chinese restaurant. The scorpion bowl was very good.

this used to be my absolute favorite chinese place, i would go out of my way just to get chinese here rather than somewhere else. but, over the past year or two ive started to change my mind. the prices have gone up and the quality has definitely gone down. i think ill start going somewhere else from now on.

Great restaurant and we love the sweet and sour chicken. Not the normal red sauce much better! The staff/owner are great. Very friendly and always smiling and chats with you. Best General Tso Ive tasted :) Food is always right, hot and ready so quick! Thanks!

Only place I know of that has a real sweet and sour sauce - tangy and a rich almost caramel-like brown with pineapples - rather than the Generic Red Sauce you find almost everywhere else.

Theyve been in business for over thirty years, and have been at the same location since I was a kid. Great, friendly people. Ive always came home happy and with a full stomach!
