Look no further... First, the service was awesome. Ni was our server and he was amazing. He answered my questions about the menu, made a recommendation, and paid perfect attention to the little things. (Hand wipes, extra napkins, new place settings for the next course, drinks in timely manner, food executed on time etc). I wish I hadnt waited so long to try Mizu out! Now that Im done kicking myself in the ass for not going sooner, lets talk food. For an appetizer I ordered the Pork Spare Ribs. The BEST Ive had in a very long time. It was presented beautifully and Ni served it to me with pride as he carefully placed it in front of me. Three glistening ribs resting with a lovely carrot carved into a butterfly for a pretty touch. I wish I took a picture, but next time...The sauce on the ribs tasted like a yummy hoisin sauce of some sort. Not too much, not too little. Just right. The pork was the juiciest Ive ever had and almost fell of the bone. This is NOT your typical dried out, tough rib meat with a bunch of fat. It was so good I didnt want to share it with my husband but had to let him taste one;) For my meal, I ordered from the Fusion Menu under Kitchen Entrees. Simple - Steak and broccoli. So, I feel the need to keep expressing how tender and juicy the meat is. This wasnt those strips of meat you get from the other spots around town. Did I mention Ni asked me how I wanted it cooked? Chunks of tender, scrumptious steak tips. The broccoli was bright green and steamed. The rice was perfectly sticky enough to stay on the chop sticks. It was so nice to feel good about what I was eating. Ive tried a few places around here (The Islander, Han Palace, Yummy Kitchen, Jade Dragon, and Happy Garden). I know these arent Japenese, but none even come close to the service, or the fresh tasting food. Id rather drag myself out in another two feet of snow to come here then to order from any of the others again. They do offer pick up orders so you can order it on your way to pick it up. FINALLY Ive found it. Thank you Mizu!

Just left there. The family wanted to take me out for my birthday. We were disappointed. They felt so bad that the waitresses never came out with my birthday fried ice cream and the gong. She brought the bill but never the ice cream. The kids sat waiting for them to bring it out. My husband had gone up front to secretly ask for it to surprise me like two other tables had their birthday surprises while we were there. So we got up to leave and the waitress was just about to come out with the ice cream. So I said oh I will go back to the table. I went back to the table and only one waitress (not even the one we had for the meal) came out and said its not a surprise but heres your ice cream. They didnt sing or have a gong. The kids were so disappointed. I could care less. But it took the fun away from our celebrations. Very very disappointing. During our meal the chef didnt offer sake. Other places offer sake and have a bottle of water to squirt at the kids. Nope. Not here. Then we notice another chef joking with his table and giving them sake. So I asked the waitress if we didnt get sake because we had kids at our table. I have no idea what she said. But a few minutes later the chef comes out with the sake squirt bottle. We had our coats on and were waiting for the bill! Had to laugh. Umm no we dont want sake now! Food was ok not different from any other hibachi place weve been to around RI. Sushi was good. They offered a $10 coupon. We may use it once when we want sushi take out. But wont be returning to dine in.

Weve been going there regularly since they opened (sometimes 2-3 times a week) and the food has always been phenomenal. The tuna pizza is an unexpected treat, and not to be missed. The chefs are happy to make anything you want, and theres no argument if you want to alter something on the menu. The hibachi show is average/good, but the food is what really shines. There are plenty of items that translate well into "kid food" if you need it (And the servers, hibachi chefs and owners/managers seem to like kids and engage them well). Theres no "sushi snobbery" there, either- if you want pretension and ultra sophistication, go somewhere else. If youre looking for consistently *excellent* food in a nice atmosphere and at a good price, this is the place. Weekends/ nights can be a bit busy (considering there are 4 sushi places in Warwick alone, this is a good sign!) so we often go for lunch, or do take out for dinner. Give Mizu a try, youll be glad you did!

Do you like excellent customer service? If so, do NOT go to Mizu. The food was wonderful, but the management is terrible. After paying $65 for a wonderful dinner for two, my husband and I waited about 20 minutes for our ice cream (included in the Mizu special) and when they brought the check over to us, I complained instead. I was very nice and simply told the waiter they had forgotten our ice cream, what could he do? The waiter said there was nothing he could do and asked if I wanted to speak with the manager. I was dumbfounded, nothing...? When I said yes, a very rude woman (I guess the manager...?) came over and again told us there was nothing they could do and something about it being rush hour? Hi, you cant deduct a five dollar drink to balance out the difference? She said no... Forget it, will not be going here again simply out of disgust for the manager. Wonderful food, terrible manager and policies. Bye Felicia.

Worst dining experience of my life, the staff was awful and when the manager was informed about how poorly we were treated they did nothing. Terrible cramped atmosphere with poor lighting, took us 20 minutes to be seen by a waitress and didnt get food or alcoholic beverages for about an hour because our first waitress was incompetent. Supposedly didnt have ingredients to make 2 simple drinks I ordered, by the third time I canceled my drink because I had already finished my meal. I literally downloaded Yelp to write a review about this one place. I hope people heed my warning.

This is our designated place for birthdays or just a night out. The food is outstanding and the service is great. Even the liquor is very reasonably priced. The biggest thing I suppose is we always have a great time. The hibachi chefs are always entertaining and keep the sake going. Ive been to a lot of hibachi restaurants and Mizu always comes through with the experience and atmosphere you are looking for.

Went for lunch around 2, got charged dinner piece without being told it would be the dinner price. Was expecting a $30 dollar check but it was $60. Went to pay and was told they didntt accept credit cards. Had to run to the bank and get cash. Staff wasntt helpful, polite, or understanding. The waitress yelled and me and my girlfriend. Poor experience.
