Food: Fish/seafood DO NOT GET SALAD Food Cost: $25-50 Alcohol: $7-15 Wine: 15+ (a huge assortment of wines) My best friend and i went here while we were in Warwick. My friend had been here before in 2002 and he loved it. When he heard we were going to Warwick he was extremely excited about eating at Legals. Well when we got there they were about half way full. We sat down, and then about 10 minutes after not being waited on a large party came in and sat behind us. Our waitress got our drinks and we pretty much didnt see here until 10-15 minutes later after she got drinks for the other table and took their orders. Then she came over to our table and took our orders. My friend got the mahi mahi and New England clam chowdah, and i got the greek salad. We got our food in about 10-15 minutes. My friend loved the clam chowdah, and his mahi mahi. My salad tasted like vomit, or stomach acid. I had my friend try it and he reported the same thing. I think it had wayyy to much vinegar in it (greek dressing). By the time our waitress came back to us it was 10-15 minutes. I told her that i had put the dressing on my salad and that it tasted terrible, she told me that she would get me some different dressings. I told her which one i wanted and she said ok. 10-15 minutes later she comes back and i told her that since i had put the stomach/vomit tasting dressing on the salad i didnt expect to put more dressing on it and asked for a new salad. She said ohh i must have misunderstood you. So she brought me a new salad, after i put on the new dressing it still tasted like vomit. My friend also tried it and he told me it tasted disgusting. By this time i was sick of being there for over an hour, and also sick of the terrible service. I told the lady i just wanted them to take off the salad and i would just pay for my drink. She insisted that i get something else, i told her NO, i just want to pay for my drink. A few minutes later the manager came out also insisting i get something else. To be honest i didnt want to get a $25 dollar fish platter. The manger kept pushing me so i got something to eat thinking maybe they would be generous and give it to me for either free, or discounted. Nope full price 24 dollar bill. The food was good but not worth the money, and the server i had was terrible. So for a 2 hour + dinner i would have to say this place is terrible. IF your sitting in an area and your 1-2 people, and a party of 3-5 come in after you. Plan on being served after the big party. First come, not first served. Then afterwards my friend had terrible stomach cramps, and ended up with food poisoning from something he ate there. My friend ended up staying up all night on the toilet the day before we had to go to our conference. Needless to say he was fine in the morning but a little wore out from the food poisoning. I would highly recommend not going here.

My wife and I were celebrating our honeymoon and we fell in love with Boston. However, when we went to Legal Seafood we were greeted and given to a waitress who refused to sit us for some reason. She passed us to another hostess to seat us. We were seated and we waited, and waited and waited. We were not served water or anything or greeted by anyone. The restaurant was by no means packed. Several other tables were vacant and people were leaving as we sat there still waiting. After about 10 to 12 minutes without a server ever making contact with us so we decided to leave. The manager stopped us at the door and asked where we were going. I told him we were leaving due to service. He offered a free appetizer and said he was sending someone to our table which was not true. He pleaded for another chance but I would not simply because I knew from being in the restaurant business that when a server is verbally lashed for not doing their job their service is generally not up to par. Especially after how we were made to feel when the first server who did not want to seat us turned her nose up at us for no apparent reason.

I was unfortunately underwhelmed, after my visit/experience at the Bedford location. The food presentation would not have passed on on the Iron Chef. The bartender did not notice U did not have silverware. Their plates are Very dated. I also ordered an old fashioned, I sat at the bar and my glass was only 3/4 filled. The bartender was very preoccupied with a conversation with a customer who arrived before me. She did however inquire about my food and beverage. She did not provide her name and was not wearing a name tag. I did not finish my food, I had it wrapped. My drink was less than acceptable. I will not return to this location!

REALLY pricy for dinner. We ordered one bowl of clam chowder, a couple of fish sandwiches and 2 draft beers and got nicked for $51 with tip. Plus, the fish sandwiches were mushy and flavorless. I would almost swear the fish was frozen, which is not cool for a seafood place. I had to add tons of salt and pepper. The clam chowder (Traditional white) was, frankly, not much better than canned. I am getting tired of spending tons of money for mediocre food.

I first ate at Legal Seafood in Inmsn Sq. Cambridge in 1966. Ive eaten at all theyve locations in N. E. Numerous times. Thousands over the decades. For the last two decades they have gradually slumped in quality while the cost has increased. Granted, some locations are better than others. This one is the worst Food quality is so disappointing, and service mediocre. The whole group agreed. Ive owned and operated restaurants in the US and EU.

Came up from Florida in search of a nice seafood restaurant, sad to say I was very disappointed. Our server gave off the impression that I could not afford my meal. The margarita that I ordered was very sour, clam chowder was bland, and maybe this was a Rhode Island thing but steaming oysters is frowned upon. Oh, but the calamari was great! Ill give them that much. Its sad that as a young black woman I cant expect a warm smile and great service.

Was not expecting it to be upscale, was looking for a more local pub venue, fish and chips place. Very impressed with the food and staff. Excellent service from Rose. Received a hot towel after my appetizers. That was a first. It was better than I was expecting, perfectly cooked. I already have my next menu items selected for my next visit.
