Coming from a real Greek who knows how to spell Greek words like spanakopita (lol) I love this place! Ive been going at least once a week for the past 10 years or so. Best food around and always consistently fresh, great quality food for people who know and can appreciate a good meal. There was only one thing I did not care for and that was that counter guy with the glasses this past year, who I heard self-appointed himself as a manager on the website bc his friend made it. -Wow- anyway I just heard yesterday that he is finally gone and things are back to normal. Besides that, the owners and rest of staff are always very friendly. It has that small town cozy vibe. I recommend the place for both take out and dine in, as my wife and I do date night there every other week with a nice bottle of wine. Great food with your favorite wine. . .It cant get much better than this.

My boyfriend and I ate here on Sunday May 6 at around 7 pm and the host who was working was such a jerk. He threw our menus onto the table and told us to enjoy over his shoulder as he walked away. He also didnt say goodbye to us as we left even though he was upfront. If youre going to charge $20 for a plate of food, you better have your service people in line. Their tables and chairs were also ugly and outdated and looked like they belonged in a diner on rt. 13. The food also wasnt great. My salmon was under seasoned and over cooked and my rice tasted like it came out of an Unlce Bens bag. My boyfriend did like his chicken greco. The spinach pie was o.k. but it had a weird after taste. Basically, I would never eat here again.

Ive eaten here a few times and it has always been a great experience. The staff and owners are very attentive and truly care if Im enjoying myself while Im eating there. I really like that Canal Street Grille has a two-page menu and everything is fresh and delicious. I can chat with my friends and family, pick anything on the menu, and it will be a good choice. We dont have those awkward silences while were flipping through a novel of a menu at this restaurant. I also really appreciate that there are many vegetarian friendly dishes as well. Im looking forward to returning to this restaurant many times.

This hidden Yardley restaurant is a fantastic lunch spot right on the Delaware Canal. The views are beautiful, the decor is clean and elegant, and the food is well-crafted Greek. The only thing that keeps this from being a regular destination for us is the price. Lunch entrees range in the 10-13$ mark, but dinner entrees climb much higher. Is the food worth it? Probably, just not every day. If its your first time visiting for lunch, try a standard like the lamb gyro or a falafel pita to get a good sense of what youre in for.

Great food and very affordable. The staff are very helpful. I had lunch and dinner there in the same day. The salad with lamb is very good. The meat mousakka (spelling?) is awesome! I love their chicken orzo soup and calamari which is very tender and served with a delicious marinara sauce. The rice pudding is worth a trip! Fresh brewed iced tea is addictive! The dinner menu includes a choice of 3 course meals that is very affordable and filling.

Canal Street Grille is one of our favorite restaurants. Weve never had a meal we didnt like, theres something on the menu for everyone, and the prices are just right. Its a great place to meet friends or family and bring a bottle of wine or beer, if you like. The service is great with pleasant and attentive staff. When we have company from out of town or from the area a lunch or dinner at Canal Street Grille is a treat for everyone!

Fast service and decent food. Excellent wings. With the recent ownership change, prices have gotten much more reasonable but if they want more repeat customers, theyll have to be more consistent with their food preparation. The lamb gyro and fish we got recently were dried out. Overall, Id go back if I was in the area and wanted a quick meal, but I wouldnt go out of my way to eat here.

restaurant is under new management within the last 6 months and Im afraid it is NOT the SAME Greek Salad dressing or Gyro that was the staple of the previous owners - no longer the awesome food that once was (plus the music is AWFUL) -my friends and I will not be going back there to waste our money.....so sad the original owners left.

My boyfriend and I took his mother there for dinner last week and it was fabulous! I had the Athena Pear salad with soup that was divine and the hummus was homemade! Additionally, Mario, the General Manager, made us feel like we were at home in his living room! Excellent job! Cant wait to go back!

This is the one of the best in town restaurants. Great Salads. I love the fact that is is a BYOB. Great service and friendly smiles. I do wish they would update there web site. New Eve and the holidays are way past us. Also miss seeing what the specials of the day might be.

Comfortable eatery off the main drag, with welcoming decor, good service, and a Greek-inspired menu. The chicken florentine pita does not disappoint. The baklava is also delicious; trying to cut it on the smooth tabletop makes the plate slide like crazy.

5 Star! Never had a bad meal here. If you like Greek food you need to try Canal Street Grill. The soups are awesome as well as all the food. Try the pear salad with chicken...a favorite of mine. Great friendly staff too.

I know the menu items are priced...well...above at least what I typically spend on a meal, but they are delicious. I have yet to be confused on why I came here and spent my money.

This place was understaffed and the prices were too high for the quality of food. We found a hair in her food so it was not the best experience.
