Both my wife and I werent too happy with our main courses or the bread appetizer. I had pasta and thought the sauce was very low quality. She had a seafood dish; it tasted funky and left a bad aftertaste. The noise from the attached bar was fine, but the Friday night band that was setting up didnt have enough sense to limit their mic checks while people were still dining. We were there from roughly 7:30-9:30, and every 20 minutes the singer would check the mic and diddle on his guitar for a few minutes as he set up. Given our experience with the taste of the food, Im surprised to see so many 5-star reviews. I guess take ours (or theirs) will a grain of salt! :)

We were frequent visitors to the Revere and yes, for a while the service and food did diminish in quality but i must give them a 5 star review . Within the last year they have not only improved on the food but the staff is warm and welcoming. The owner has definitely stepped up on taste and service and it is now back where it once was. My husbadn and i now look forward to our saturday night hangout and delicious dinner at the Revere. Keep it up Joe!! Fyi...theyre lump crab with asparagus and the scallops are the freshest ive had ANYWHERE IN YEARS! ! great atmosphere and great food...couldnt ask for anything more.

Amazing food, too bad the awful hostess ruins the restaurants vibe. We ordered just about half the menu and she told all the bus boys and our waitress that "she needed us out" because there were no tables for another party coming in... Not our problem; if you dont know how to handle the restaurant traffic flow your in the wrong business. Not to mention we asked for change and she shorted us $10 and pocketed it right it front of us... (Trash) Besides that foods great bread is AMAZING and if you like clams casino this is the place to be

The tomato sauce for the pasta was watery, soupy with no taste...also the pasta was not cooked enough. The bread that was complementary was soaked in oil and the salad had way too much dressing on it. The chicken masala was good, although the chicken needed to be cut with a knife- it wasnt tender enough to cut with a fork. Very average restaurant with high prices and ordinary decor.

My last visit this past Friday night was terrific. Shannon set 11 of us up to eat outside. Jess served us and she rocked it. Fried mozzerella with vodka sauce, clams casino, bacon dusted calamari, chopped antipasto, rigatoni bolognese, rigatoni vodka, seasoned chicken, and the butterflied pork chop parmesan were all out of this world! And the bread, glorious!!
