My husband called ahead - not to make a reservation, but to plan something special for our one year anniversary. The two people he spoke with were very nice (even called us back to confirm the plan). We were so excited to go eat by the water & have our anniversary dessert they said theyd bring out. We get there and he gives her his name, stating we called earlier and the hostess simply said "We dont do that." He explained that whom he spoke with said wed get a special dessert for our anniversary, then she replied in a snarky way, "Well, Ill let your server know." Her attitude instantly soured the experience; she completely ruined the mood we had for our celebration. Food was a complete let down as well. And it wasnt a surprise when our server did not bring out a dessert for us. Overall, the customer service ruined any chance of us ever returning. If the service was as good as the mediocre food was expensive - maybe we would have enjoyed the food & experience. But sadly, not the case.

This establishment sets itself up to be fine dining and the only thing fine was the view. The wait staff was not able to provide even basic expected behavior (coming to take your order, checking on your food, asking if everything was ok, making sure your order was right) we ordered sangria and it took 20 mins to get and almost an hour later our appetizers and food came out at the same time. All the food was cold or warm - opposite of how it should have been. At that, there was nothing inspiring about the food; run of the mill sandwiches and salads at lunch. When it was complained about, the waiter was annoyed and only offered to take 1 item off. It you are looking to spend 200 bucks find somewhere else to do so.

Eat here for the ambiance! We love sitting on the decking over the bay, especially when the sun is setting. This year, they switched to a family-style menu (larger portions, meant to share with the table). We took our children, had drinks and ordered salads and three plates of the mini Kobe Beef Sliders with fries to share. It was delicious and a fun dining experience for all of us. Well be back next summer! Note, it does get crowded and service can be slow.

We had dinner both inside and outside. The scallops were to die for. They were perfectly seared and just wonderful. I also had the beef sliders, and the spicy ketchup for those tied the entire meal together. We had excellent service. When we were outside, our waiter and another employee dragged over a heater for us because we were cold. Thats just one example, but the service was all around fast and excellent.

Just returned from an terrible lunch at the Water Star Grille at Reeds. We had the watermelon salad which cost $30. It was a few pieces of ICEBERG lettuce 2 small pieces of watermelon and a few cherry tomatoes. Terrible. We had the crab flatbread. The flatbread was so stale we could not chew it. We will never be going back to this place, ever.

Great outdoor bar and restaurant. On the pricey side. But if your in the center of stone harbor its the places to be. Sit outside and enjoy the sun and the cove
