They just started doing lunch service using $6 tacos as a hook to get us in. When my plate was first set down I was very happy with the appearance and quality of the food in front of me. I was a little concerned about the quantity of the meal but after finishing it discovered it was the perfect portion for a lunch. The next trip I splurged for one of the noodle bowls which are about 12 bucks a piece and it was spicy and good as I would expect from here. The prices are a bit high but its a quality product not mass produced tacos like you can get at the bell down the street. At the office we make it a point to go in each week for lunch and havent been disappointed yet.

the food was not prepared as stated. The tamale had some odd sauce on top. The tamales I normally get from a real mex. place are normally wrapped in corn husk dont have crappy sauce on them to add flavor . The flavor should be already in the tamale.the chicken wasnt freshly made and everything else was artificial. our original mex. place was closed today so sadly we tried this place. :( the sad face says it all.

WE CALLED THE RESTUART TO RESERVE A TABLE FOR US FOR A B-DAY DINNER WE TALKED TO THE MANAGER TO ASK HIM IF HE COULD GET A CAKE FOR US SO WE COULD SURPISE THE B-DAY GIRL AND HE GOT A BAD ATTITUDE WITH US AND TOLD US IF WE WANTED A CAKE IT WOULD COST US $80!!!!!!!! WHEN U COULD GET ONE FROM FRIENDLYS FOR $30 AND ON TOP OF ALL THAT HE HUNG UP ON US. THIS RESTUART IS HORRIBLE.

Los Amigos used to one of our favorite places. It just keeps getting worse, and tonight was probably our last visit. The food was far overpriced, bland, and greasy. The manager was unconcerned. We spent $60 on weak margaritas, guacamole, and 3 very small appetizers. The taste was poor, and it took over an hour to get our food. Such a disappointment.

This place is a gem. Its so hard to find good Mexican food that isnt fast food or a mediocre chain restaurant. I dont understand the negative reviews. Over priced? Maybe if all you can compare this to is Taco Bell or Chipotle. Ive been here a handful of times over the past two years and its always been very good. Last night was no exception.

a surprisingly nice choice for execellent mexican food. some authentic and some more for us tastes, but excellent service and good food make this a good choice when out of the casinos. the neighborhood used to be bordering dicey, but the outlet area and vitalization of the area (cuba libre as well) makes this a great choice.

This is texmex style food. Good margarita selection, and the food is yummy. Docked one star because our waitress ignored us for the majority of our meal. Water was never replenished, she was surprised when we told her our guac hasnt arrived yet. Good food, but nothing mind-blowing. Probably wont go again.

My husband and I love it at Los Amigos. I have been going to this place for years. The brisket street tacos are the best! Every time there is a special, it is always good. The servers are great as is the staff. We go so much, we are recognized.

The guacamole was good, but the chimichangas were not authentic and tasted nasty. We paid 110 plus tip for 4 adults...ridiculously overpriced. Everything is served ala carte so 17 for a chimichanga with rice and refried beans....Not worth the price

My Favorite Southwestern/Mexican place because it offers more than just standard Mexican fare. I almost always order one of their specials and have never been disappointed. Theyre also one of my favorite places to go during restaurant week.

I have always loved Los Amigos ,been going for years not on a regular basis so I didnt realize how much the food has changed. Used to be the place for most authentic Mexican food but not now. Service was excellent. Food was not.

HORRIBLE!!!! The "chicken" was more like a mystery meat. Salsa was more like a pizza sauce. Over priced and manager wouldnt speak to me about the meal. He refused to allow the server to take the "chicken" off of the bill.

Anyone who rates this less than five stars for service, atmosphere, and just great food is dumb. Hands down, best mexican in nj. If you got a bad attitude, its probably because you deserved it.
