We went to Olce tonight to try out their highly reviewed pizza. We show up without a reservation and get a funny look. The place is virtually empty and all we could get was an uncomfortable picnic table outside. Thats fine but we ate and left and there were many unused tables during the entire time we were there. Strange way to do business. It appeared the diners there were the oddballs who show up to a pizza place with own coolers/insulated bags with their BYO wine and beer. As for their pizza (I am a bit of a pizza snob).... we ordered the Margherita and the Dennis. I tried both and they were really unimpressive. The Margherita had almost no topping and what was there slid off in an oil slick. The Dennis was a bit more substantial but nothing to rave about. The crust on both was totally bland (like a matzo) and burnt on the bottom. If you looking for "fancy" or different pizza, I say go to Earth on Germantown Ave in Mt Airy. IMO, hands down better than this fare. I would not recommend this place for their pizza. We did not have any salads so I cannot comment on them.

I am shocked that the rating for Olce is 4.5 stars. A friend and I just went last night and we were not impressed to say the least. We both ordered margherita pizzas and they were drenched in olive oil. When wed go to pick up a slice all of the cheese would slide off because there was such an excessive amount of olive oil. We asked for new pizzas and the waitress first tried to tell us it was supposed to be a "wet" pizza. They did bring us out new pizzas and didnt charge us for them which is why Im giving them 2 stars. Even still, neither of us could bring ourselves to finish the other pizzas. Will not be returning to this restaurant.

We walked in to an empty retairant and asked if we had reservations. When we said no they said we could sit outside or on the patio bit the empty air conditioned restauant was all reserved. Pizza was good but when we left there were still 5 empty tables. People who ended up in the patiow us were relegates tjere beecause their reservation was for 2 but they had 3 people. They had called and altered the reservation but that never made it to the front. Besides the rude hostess not bad, just dont show up wout a reservation

We make it out to Olce at least every other month, if not more often. The staff and owner are always super friendly. The food is always top notch and they have great special pizza that are really creative. They are very kid friendly. They also have outdoor seating, which is really nice in the spring, summer, and fall months. They are BYOB and take reservations (online or over the phone). I would recommend reservations on Fridays and Saturdays.

Ordered a Large pizza and large order of wings for my family for dinner. The pizza showed up but the delivery guy said he forgot the wings, I tried calling back but never got a response. So i Called back the next morning and asked for the owner and the owner immediately said that it was their lunch hour and they dont take soliciting phone calls and just hung up on me. Good pizza. Ordered the old antipasto three pices of cheese, same pepperoni slices they put on the pizza and four pieces of store bought stick bread. We asked for more bread and we got five pieces of the store bought stick bread and were charged an extra $2.00 .... really ! Seems like not a big deal but who does that ?!?!

Olce Pizza is a fantastic casual dining experience. The pizza is great, we love it all, but the Picante, Tinga and Pepperoni are my favorites. The salads are great too. If youre in the Skippack area and want a great meal, check it out.

I cannot say enough good about this place. The pizza is outstanding, and the owner is a really funny, nice guy. Go there; You wont regret it. Make reservations though, or you may regret THAT.
