We had just moved here at the end of August and had gone to Pizza Mia a few times, UNTIL .... I was waiting for my food and witnessed a guy behind the counter making pizzas, EATING A SANDWICH WHILE MAKING PIZZAS. I like sick. Was he eating his sandwich while making my pizza? Is he sick? Does he have hepatitis, Swine Flu, Aids? Do I feed this to my kids? I called the owner a week later due to the fact that it was Christmas time and I was very busy and when I did call the owner was away on vacation. He did call me back and I explained the situation and what I witnessed. He was NOT apologetic at all. Then he asked me if it was a Friday or a Saturday and I told him that I could not honestly remember. He the said that "well I dont know who to yell at then". I said that it was a little late for that and that "yelling" at someone was not going to fix the problem. He then laughed at me. : | He was not nice, offered me nothing to compensate for my meal. I feel that this is bad business. I also explained to him that I didnt think that this was up to par with the Deparment of Health Standards. Again he laughed at me. So in closing, if you are thinking about eating here, I would NOT eat here for the above reasons.

I ordered 4 pizzas to be delivered to my sons birthday party at Montco Sports Performance Centers.(Montco recommended PizzaMia) I specified 4:50 as the delivery time b/c the food/cake was to be served between 5 and 5:30 per Montcos schedule. At 5:00, no pizzas, so I called PizzaMia -- the girl said theyd be right there. Long story short, after multiple phone calls with the nasty and rude girl who said "Well he has 4 other deliveries", the ignorant delivery man arrived at 5:15 (25 minutes late). He was so rude and said "we dont guarantee delivery time." Thankfully, Montco was great and allowed the boys to play in the gym until the pizzas arrived. I asked Montco to not recommend PizzaMia to any other parties held there because they are unreliable and rude!!! And btw, the pizzas were just OK. Not very hot, obviously!

My brother just moved to Harleysville and ordered this pizza (delivery) the other night while I was visiting. We had pepperoni, and also one that was a white pizza with veggies on it. IT WAS AWESOME. I am in fact ordering from there right now, which is how I ended up reading the review below (eating while making...) -- well, all I can say is, Im ordering their pizza anyway, it was that good! And by the way, you cant get AIDS from eating pizza that someone with AIDS made, whether or not they are eating whilst making it.

We have eaten here in the past and the food was very good so was the service. Well earlier today we went inside to ask if they sold their water ice to go . Our son was getting more teeth pulled out at the orthodontist next door and requested water ice from there. The gentlemen never even let us finish asking our question before he rudely said they were closed and treated us very badly. Needless to say we will never walk one foot int here again, nor will we recommended them to others again. So rude. and unprofessional

Ive picked up from this restuarant once before and the food was average. Today my wife and I placed a delivery order. Three subs and fries. After waiting about 50 minutes we called to check on order. The women that answered could not tell us where our order was but that we should keep waiting. When I asked to cancel the order the manager got on the phone and quickly called me an A$$H&*&! WOW, I was floored... nice customer service.. Rediculously unprofessional DO NOT EVER ORDER FOOD FROM THIS VENDOR...

I just had an OK experience in this pizza place. It was Sunday and I could not get the order taker/cashier to smile once. Maybe because I used a coupon for free pizza they sent us in the mail? I dont know, the place felt like a let down and again, if you are trying to attract new customer with free stuff, put on your best show case. The food was, well, just OK too. Nothing to brag about, especially given the competition within 5 miles.

Even though it has some bad reviews I thought I would try someplace new....big mistake the girl that was in the front stood talking to another employee even as she saw me waiting to pick up my food. I had to say excuse me for her to stop and walk over and ring me up and give me my food. Mind you this was a tues night and only one other family was in the restaurant.

Just try to call for a delivery, the guy ans9the phone hello doesnt say business name,so I ask is this pizza mia,guy like YEAH,so I ask are you delivering, guy again rudely YEAH,so I was ok thank you buy..hung up not going to give business to rude people...wow

The guy at the counter is a rude jerk. Fries suck and white pizza is below average. Ill never patronize this business again. There is no way this guy doesnt see these reviews online - he just doesnt care.

We have lunch delivered from Pizza Mia to my work almost every week and the food is great and delivery on time. We usually get the same delivery guy and he is always nice. Im not sure why the bad reviews.

Food was good, not bad though could some improvement. The interior of the restaurant, infrastructure definitely needs fixing up. Its good for take-out though eating-in isnt as pleasant.
