Our waiter was terrible; He was rude about carding me and after interrogation about my clearly valid ID turned me down regardless because of the age of the other people at the table - a law that I guess exists but I have never otherwise heard of or seen enforced. As I had only joined my friends to the restaurant for a few drinks myself, I had to sit there the entire time only with a water and some nagging weirdo server inappropriately handling the situation by making comments like "Are you still mad at me?" every time he visited the table throughout the night instead of simply apologizing and empathizing. Furthermore, when the girl who appeared to be training alongside the server asked about a person we mutually knew at home and I said I knew *his* boyfriend, the waiter made a shocked face as some sort of gag routine and joked about it was his queue to leave or something similar, an extremely insensitive response to a persons homosexuality that I find intolerable in this age especially while one is representing a business at their job. My friends and I were all extremely put off by it. It was certainly a treat working all day since 7 in the morning to be refused drinks at a restaurant and treated like a child the entire time. As for the food, reasonable, but nothing that couldnt be more freshly prepared and for cheaper following a trip to the grocery store.

Three floors are offered in this taco joint with sole purpose of providing different atmosphere.. I assume. First two floors were almost empty Friday night, but we decided to settled at the roof top bar where I ordered a $9 dollar el diablo margarita that came in 6 ounce plastic cup, filled with ice accompanied by one slice of jalapeno. It left me severely thirsty but decided to stick with water, which was provided by a very fresh smartass waiter. Ordered organic chicken mole platter and after 30-40 minutes later, our food was presented without any utensils. We asked the runner and after waiting a while without it, I stopped the speed walking hostess who took care of it few minutes later. By this time, our food got cold, others started to eat with their hands while my mole drowning my organic burrito made it difficult for me to go all tribal. Mole was overly sweet, similar to chocolate syrup and my accompanied burrito was very thin, so I was left hungry and sober after spending total of around $30. I want to drop kick those people who putdown Taco bell. They havent been Mas Mexicali Cantina. Hopefully the owner or manager can call Robert Irvine to do his show on here...

Ate here last night and the decor is what drew us in. The service was good, but it was the overly friendly waiter that will never leave you alone and wants to explain every item on the menu. He suggested the Guacamole appetizer because according to him, you can judge a Mexican restaurant by the Guac. It was descried as coming with warm chips. The portion of Guac was very small and the chips were soggy. I have had better Guac at almost every other place I have ever been, so maybe he was right…HAHA We both had the Fajitas and they were nothing to brag about. Pretty bland and not enough for the price they charge. The Margaritas were not bad, but overall for $50 for a dinner date we should have gone to the Border Café! Way more food, flavor and drinks for the price. If that is the type of meal you are looking for, it is worth the drive. The people that own MAS should go to Border in Delaware and copy their flavor.

UPDATE: I was really craving a chicken quesadilla, so I decided to give Más another shot. I should have remembered how bad it was before, because this time the quesadilla was different from before, but they somehow managed to make it worse. It was drowning in what seemed like chili powder to the point that the tortillas were like powdered slices of chicken and cheese. The powder resembled almost a curry flavor - definitely nothing resembling Mexican taste. Unless youre looking for a margarita, save your yourself the time looking for good Mexican here. Good place for drinks, okay for food. The service was never really good. Once I waited on the roof deck for silverware for the food I was served, but it took 10 minutes to finally find a server. The food was also wrong. The deck is cool, but this is definitely a place to grab a drink. If you want Mexican, there are better spots in town for some authentic Mexican.

I had my boyfriends surprise party at Mas last weekend. It was wonderful! The whole staff was amazing! I planned the party months before and I was in contact with Jillian. She was awesome! She was so helpful throughout the whole planning of the party, and made things so easy for me and less stressful. The day of the party,I went to set up and AJ helped me set up for the whole party. The service during the party was phenomenal! They went out of their way to make sure I had the best experience possible. After the party I even received a letter from the owner of the Mas, thanking me for having the party there. It was a great experience and I HIGHLY recommend having a party there!

We were not impresses. ... it is not authentic mexican... it should be illegal to state authentic, if its not.... shrimp cocktail is made with a Bloody Mary mix & celery salt. Beans and rice are caned, not homemade. And Bulgogi is not made, with BBQ sauce.... tip for owners... go to an asain mkt or Wegman and get the Korean Bulgogi premade sauce....use this instead of BBQ sauce, sweet Thi chili sauce would have been good as well.. trust me we are from California, And my wife is korean... we know authentic foods when we taste it. On a good note the cucumber Margarita was good and the rooftop was nice.

How is this place still in business? I just got back from lunch at Mas. They call it Mas Express during the lunch hour, I suppose, to make you think that you might make it out of there in under an hour and forty five minutes. The waiter was about as inattentive as I have ever seen. There were only 3 other tables being served in the entire restaurant, yet drink refills took ten minutes and when they came, they were incomplete. Food took 40 minutes....also incomplete. The food, was average. Certainly not worth the wait.

4 stars for food. 2 stars for being rushed. The food was much better than I remembered in previous visits over the years. The rooftop was fun and the atmosphere was very nice. The summer rooftop is popular and there is often a long wait Appetizer came quickly which was good, both in speed and quality. The entrees came 3 minutes later and the server seemed to be nudging us along all the way- our whole esperience lasted 35 minutes even as I consciously pushed off the server.

First of all we stopped in the ladies room, on the way up the stairs to the rooftop eating., and one toilet was backed up, there was no paper in the stall I was in, and it was dirty! First impressions matter and that first impression was extremely bad! Secondly, I do not expect an $11 margarita to be served in a small PLASTIC cup! Not to mention the minimal if any liquor that was in it! We will not be returning and of course will not be recommending this place!
