My wife and I heard very good things about Buon Appetito and tried it for a date one evening. There service was fine. The food was good with big portions. The atmosphere was OK. It seemed a bit dark in the restaurant, but not in a romantic or positive way. It wasnt a bad experience by any means, but it wasnt great. I would like to go back again to see if we would enjoy it more. A slightly disappointing side note: After we left, I decided I could go for an espresso. We stopped back in to order one to go; however, we were told the machine would take 20 minutes to setup. Now we did just pop in; however, even if we were offered this after our meal (as restaurants often do) or choose to request one, I would not have wanted to wait 20 minutes after my meal for an espresso. But I guess I know that if I want one next time, order it at the beginning of our meal.

HUGE food portions. Best mussels Ive ever had. Bread is really good. Gourmet food at affordable prices. Super friendly staff. Very casual, yet classy. Worth the drive, this place is a little out of the way. Best kept secret of the Hanover area. They have a nice bar/lounge area. This is a brewery too, but they carry regular bottled too. Beer is a little rough around the edges, which is typical of small batches. No wait to get seated. Overall a great experience, I will be back again!

Great food! Had the Alfredo supremo which featured different seafood, prosciutto,sun-dried tomatoes, and other ingredients in a nice creamy Alfredo sauce and I had to make the joke that it had so much crab in it that it was almost like eating cream of crab soup with pasta haha! Friendly service but could use work on speed though Im sure that food this good does take time! Overall good experience.

Awesome atmosphere server was friendly but definitely overwhelmed the food was terrible we paid extra for grilled chicken and it was boiled and bland I added shrimp that was rubbery both of our sauces were bland they were out of listed wines the only decent part was the lobster bisque and our cake.

Nice atmosphere (we enjoyed the deck). friendly staff. Excellent sangria and beer samples (very large samples)! The food was ok... but not worth the price. Bruschetta and garlic bread was very good! Calamari not so good. I would go again just for drinks and live music on the deck!

If you havent been to Buon Appetito, youre missing probably the best Italian food in the Hanover/Spring Grove area. Absolutely great service, friendly staff, reasonable prices and, oh yeah, did I mention Great Food. No comparison to the chain restaurants. Hands down.

Pete, Tony, and the crew here are the finest around! The food is absolutely delicious and affordably priced with plentiful quantities! The bread is homemade in house and the atomosphere is inviting! If you havent eaten here yet, your totally missing out.

We had a lovely quiet dinner of delicious Italian food along with a nice selection of local wine and brews. Excellent food, nice atmosphere and great service. Excited to come back and dine on the outdoor patio in warmer months!

The food is hands down the best Italian food I have ever had. I got the sausage whiskey tortellini and my husband got the stuffed chicken cream marsala and we couldnt keep our hands off each others plates. Highly recommended!!!

Linguine with clam sauce was delicious and fresh. Creme brulee was best Ive ever eaten. Server wasnt the greatest and we caught a draft at our table, but I will definitely be back (and hope for a better server and table)
