I really want to like this place because I want to support local businesses. Their coffee is wonderful and the location is nice. But the reason for 2 stars is the slow service, disorganized employees, and obnoxious customers. I will keep coming back to Cornerstone and Ill update my review if the problem is fixed. I enter the coffee shop, one customer is at the counter in front of me. They are tying up the cashier with annoying conversation, and requests. I am kind of in a hurry after all this is a coffee shop my visit shouldnt take that long. So I would have liked another employee to start taking my order while this other person that was long done with their order could have moved to the side. So I made my order everything is going okay. Then 4 people after me make their orders to the cashier, meanwhile my cup is still sitting next to the cashier not touched. 4 other employees are in the back talking. Someone from the back finally comes up and starts making drinks, and picks up a stack of 5 cups with names on them. Of course how would they know what order to start making drinks since the cups are all just stacked together. My drink was made after another customer which ordered after me. The staff needs to be trained on basic customer service skills like first come first served, and start making the drink right when Im done ordering it, dont wait until everyone in line has ordered. And ask customers that dont need to be blocking the register to move to the side.

I used to come to this place as a kid and it used to be way better. Its really hit or miss here. The food is usually good, but some of the staff (high school/college kids) leave much to be desired. Nothing against younger workers, but some of the staff seem to always have an attitude and tons of angst, and Ive had my order messed up/forgotten several times. Their attitudes are enough for me to notice, and make me not want to come back. Then some of the other staff are great (although they seem to be more rare)! Again, depends on who helps you here. Also please note, I was a food service worker for ten years and go out of my way not to be an annoying customer. Some of these kids just exude angst before you even say hello. Their treatment of customers is not the only issue. Again depending on who helps you, sometimes the fiod/drinks are slopped together like a 5 year old did it. I got an Italian soda and it literally tasted like seltzer water. I apologize for the rant, its just sad to see a place that used to be so awesome, and that has so much potential, be dimmed by a couple employees that just need to grow up a bit.

This our standard Friday afternoon spot after tai chi at the Y. Been here many times - - hopefully not in a rut or too much of a routine - - but the atmosphere is cozy, noisy at times with busy people enjoying good food and coffee. The breakfast burritos are top notch, even for lunch, hand made fresh: scrambled egg, black beans, spicy salsa, with avocado. Excellent quiche and soups: today was crab and corn chowder, always served with neat crackers coated with poppy, sesame seeds. Always good to find the two easy chairs available. Relaxing spots to use wi -fi. Periodic presentations by former mayor of Camp Hill on Sunday afternoons on a variety of topics: Lou Thieblemont knows his stuff!

The drinks were okay. The customer service is uncomfortably bad. Asked about items on menu and she said either she didnt like the item or was something she never tried. The drinks took a real time as the girl making them was distracted and confused when making the drinks. The whole time the employees were, distant? While we were waiting a guy asked about refills. He got a cold montone and dismissive "50 cents" response. The place just feels uncomfortable. Two stars for the place being wicked clean and nice as well as the frappe being good. The customer service is enough to make me not go back at least at night. Maybe the day staff are more professional.

There is no argument, the food and drink is good at the Cornerstone Coffeehouse, but the service is VERY POOR. While attending a meeting with a large group of folks, we were accosted by the owner because in her eyes we had not ordered enough and were taking up valuable space. Note that there were hardly any other patrons in the establishment at the time we were there. I realize the economy is down, but honestly, if you own a service organization, its probably not a good idea to harass the customers and tell them to buy more items. It is, although, a great way to lose 30+ customers forever.

I always want to like this place. They have a wide variety of coffee, tea, and milk options. The food is vegetarian friendly. Wifi usually works well. But Ive never had anything good here. Ive been about 5 times in the past year. The baked oatmeal was hard and a little bland. The coffee tasted burnt. The cookie had good flavor but felt like I was eating a pebble covered ginger snap. The artwork they display is nice and the staff are always friendly. Its worth a shot if you are nearby, but nothing to go out of your way for.

Cornerstone Coffeehouse is absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is nice, the employees are always very enthusiastic, and the coffee is always delicious! If youre simply looking for drinks, this is the place to go. However, if youre looking to eat some food, I would recommend going elsewhere -- Their food is very expensive and unfortunately not all that wonderful. The experience is absolutely amazing and I go there at least two times a week to get their Espresso Milkshake. Absolutely delicious. I 100% recommend it!

I love cornerstone because of the community atmosphere. I do wish there was more tables and more room in between tables, but you cant beat the lamps, fresh flowers and local art. Cornerstone is my loose leaf tea supplier because I can just pick some up when I stop in. Never had their food but I have Celiac disease and always notice they have a gluten free option. I much appreciate this because its hard to find at a regular place much less a small cafe. Love it. Going through my third frequent buyer card!

If you want to try something different, healthy, and delicious, Cornerstone Coffeehouse is the place to go! Their food is delicious and memorable. They also provide catering, and I have gotten good feedback from those who ate their catering. Its something more interesting than the standard soup and sandwiches, or pizza, that becomes so tiresome after a while. Give them a call and find out what unique offerings they have, lately!

I am so glad to be located just blocks away from the Cornerstone Coffeehouse. They have a great selection of coffees and bites to eat served by a friendly staff and Sue & Al are an absolute delight! The Cornerstone is a great place to meet with friends or have a business meeting. Im looking forward to trying out one of their cooking classes soon! Cornerstone is absolutely a staple to the Community!

The atmosphere is nice and the coffee is nice. The food tastes great but is expensive. You can ask to get a mug and get .50 refills. There are outlets everywhere but only one spot to sit comfortably. The tables made me feel like I was in a school cafeteria. I went with my sister who is great company so I had a great time there. I wouldnt go there to chill out tho.
