I love, love, love Café Fresco – I have been eating here for years. The atmosphere is like being inside a lava lamp! – The service is impeccable! Café Fresco is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Harrisburg. There is convienient garage parking directly across the street which is extremely convienient. They have a wonderful selection of custom creative drinks that they make with infusions they create on premises – the drinks are absolutely divine here! Usually there is a daily sushi offering that is spectacular! – the menu is very diverse will fit just about any occasion – you can come here with a date for an elegant first class dinner that will certainly impress – or you can come here with friends after work and have flat bread pizzas at happy hour. Everything here is elegantly and expertly prepared, with the finest ingredients – everything is treated with the utmost respect from the moment you walk in the door! – the food, the drinks, the staff – everything is treated with reverence. I had a companion once with food issues – and the chef came out and sat with us to talk about what they could do accommodate her – it was spectacular. I am a regular here and I come here often, I love this place and I think it is truly a unique dining experience – every single time I come here I am impressed and in awe.

I had a good feeling for Cafe Fresco the first time I went to dine there - the ambiance, service etc was very appealing and inviting. So I thought of giving this place another shot last night. Im glad I did :) Seems like the entire kitchen crew woke up and is back on the job again! The ambiance, great service (thanks Ashley), good drinks were all there, and the food was good too! Martini lovers - Pineapple Martini here is to die for!!! We had Crab Tempura for appetizer - 4/ 5 stars! Fried crab sticks were perfectly crisp and tasty :) Main Course: Wasabi coated Filet Mignon and Crab Fried Rice. Crab Fried Rice - 3.5/ 5 - much better than a takeout Chinese restaurant but little lacking compared to my favorite Chinese restaurants. Cant put my finger on it, but the hint of shrimp sauce/ oil was a bit overwhelming on the dish. Wasabi coated Filet Mignon - I ordered it Medium Rare and the steak was served sliced - which was fine by me. The meat did look medium rare! It was tender and flavorful and the wasabi did add a nice kick to the steak. Even the sides of mashed potatoes and steamed asparagus were good, though the asparagus was tad bit too salty for me. - 4/ 5 stars. Bottom line - Im glad I went there again and would recommend this place if you want a fine dining experience in Harrisburg :)

This place has been a favorite for a long time but I feel like it has way past run its course. The quality of service has deteriorated and during happy hour the inexperienced and oblivious serving staff is way too easily overwhelmed. Went for dinner and waited for over 15 minutes without ever even being acknowledged by a server. This simply cannot happen, even at a faux fine dining establishment. Had to get up and leave and find dinner somewhere else. Highly NOT recommended. For what its worth, I am way more likely to write positive reviews than negative ones, and Ive given a 5 star rating to this place in the past, but I cant ignore the past few negative experiences I have had here. To be fair, the food and drinks are fantastic, but when nobody acknowledges you it makes it hard to enjoy it.

The Chilean Sea Bass was wonderful, very tender and a mild but well done sauce. There could be a little more sauce for the size of the fillet. The dumplings were average at best, by far the worst part of the meal. Even though they were advertised as having Ginger, there was no taste of Ginger at all and were quite bland. The drinks were very tasty, maybe a little low on the alcohol content but that very likely attributed to how well the drinks tasted.

Their service is amazing, and I love the atmosphere! I got their Red Curry Peanut Chicken dish and it was so amazing! Definitely go and try this place out. Its a bit pricey, but its a great place to go for a special occasion. And their happy hour is a great deal, half price for nearly every drink on the menu. I have heard their lunch menu is very affordable but I have never been for lunch yet, so Ill have to give it a try!

Great food. The wait time from order to arrival wasnt bad and it was exquisite especially for the price which is around $20 - $30 per meal and the portions are a decent size too. Our waitress, Jen, was outstanding despite it being her first month working there. The manager checked in on us to ask how everything was, just really great service and I highly recommend it.

Great mix of food in a cool atmosphere! It is a bit on the pricey side ($15 to $30 for an entree), but the food is delicious! They have unique specials each day that you dont see in many other restaurants. The staff was very kind, attentive, and timely. The restaurant was very clean. I would recommend this restaurant and will be taking my family here in the future!

Very tasty food and excellent service. Their drinks were also tasty. The Saturday brunch was great! My friend and I look for Saturday brunches all the time, but theyre hard to find. The waitstaff is very friendly and were able to provide good options if you are unsure what to eat. I really liked the Mongolian pork belly eggs benedict.

My husband used to work around the corner from this place, so wed find ourselves going there for lunch on a regular basis. Never had a bad meal and the price was very reasonable for lunch. Enjoyed the fresh fruit cup! Wish my husband was still working in Harrisburg so we can go there again!

I make sure to stop here for lunch, anytime that I am in the area. The menu has a lot of interesting options. I really enjoyed the Cuban sandwhich during my last visit there. The decor is very modern and upscale abd thr service is great.

Always a great place for quality food and great atmosphere. Salads are fantastic and sandwiches are as well. I typically go there for lunch. If you have room, their cheesecake (and other desserts) are excellent as well.

Food was 4 leaves of spinach and a strawberry...for 20 bucks. Service was unhelpful and unpleasant. Atmosphere was stuffy and snobby. Considering it being on the main strip in harrisburg they have a lot of competition

Nice place. Strong drinks. But pricey. Lunch is okay. Salad was decent. Dinner is delicious but a little pricey for the area. Good portions. Pad Thai and seafood pizza were really good. Tuna burger was phenomenal

Not too expensive but the food just wasnt that good. I had the pesto pizza and my wife had the kobe burger and both were just average. The server was very nice and the atmosphere was excellent.
