My experience at this "restaurant" was one of the worst in my life. After finally being seated by the hostess, who was on her cell phone when we arrived (and apparently was in the middle of an extremely important conversation), we sat down to a table devoid of menus or place settings. When our waitress came to take our drink orders, she took no notice of our unset table, and would likely have left it that way if not for my wife speaking up. The menu LOOKS delicious. They have a great selection of traditional dishes as well as some Americanized plates. I ordered a steak, medium-well. My wife ordered a taco salad. We both shared the nachos for an appetizer. When the food came, I could smell that there was going to be an issue. The 12oz steak placed in front of me was charred beyond all recognition. There was no way I was going to eat the firm slice of carbon in front of me, so I asked the waitress if she could have it re-made. I was told "sir, you ordered it medium-well, and that is how we cook meat medium-well here". She basically implied that the laws of food preparation somehow did not apply in this restaurant, and I was given quite an attitude when I expressed I was unhappy with the dish. I asked to speak with her manager, with the sole intention of getting a new cut of meat. She mumbled something in spanish under her breath and hastily walked away to get him. Now the manager, Victor, was likely the worst part of this whole experience. He approached our table rapidly, and we could both tell he was not going to be pleasant. My wife at this point was slightly amused, as this all seemed like a surreal, candid camera type situation. Victor seemed very annoyed, and he was definitely intoxicated. He said something like "unhappy with the steak?" and took the plate before I answered. I then heard him yelling the "back" of the restaurant, which is definitely in earshot of the entire place. 10 minutes later, he brings me the polar opposite of the first cut - bloody and cold. I asked him "are you joking??" and he became irate, yet held it in as best he could. He stood quite close to me and apologized again through his teeth, saying he would make me something else if I would like, saying "our steak must not be your taste". He reeked of alcohol, and was definitely looking toasted. After all of this, my wife and I looked at eachother, paid the bill (we estimated from the menu prices) and left a tio, and walked out. Hungry. We proceded to the nearest McDonalds. The service was great.

Ive visited your Southampton location on several occasions with friends, family & co-workers. Ive always been very pleased with the atmosphere, food & service. However.... today was an exception. I wanted to treat my son & his wife to an early dinner. We arrived at approx. 4:30pm. We ordered drinks and appetizers and dinner. We wanted Mojitos, but they were out of mint..... we asked for lemon with our water..... they were out of lemon. As soon as our dinner order arrived, before we could even begin to eat, the fire alarm went off in the room we were in. I went into another room to inquire as why no one is doing something about the alarm, which by this time, was making us all feel ill from the loud ringing in our ears. I was told there is no manager there to turn off the alarm or to call anyone. The server helped us relocate all of our food to another room. But by that time, we were all pretty upset & could not eat. We asked for containers for our food. The server brought out containers along with our bill of $95.08. I asked to see a manager and was told the manager was still not there. I asked who was in charge.... they said no one. I asked for a discount because of the terrible experience.... I was told there was nothing they could do because accidents happen. I asked if someone there could at least call a manager.... they said no. Not one person apologized or offered anything to make us feel better. As a matter of fact, we felt as though we were unwelcome from the beginning. I was told the manager that was supposed to be there had to go to the store. I was also told his name was Angel, and I should call or write if I want any type of compensation. This was the worse experience Ive ever had at any restaurant.

I absolutely dont get the five star reviews. This place was awful. Before you dismiss this as a bad review for a bad waiter, which we had, dont. I can deal with a poor waiter and dont immediately write bad reviews for that. This bad review is for the horrible food. There was next to no wait, which on a Saturday night should have been a red flag. When we got our drinks, my wifes wine and my beer were clearly watered down. This negated the surprise at the cheap cost of the drinks. After I finished my beer, I waited a solid twenty minutes until the waiter returned. He asked if the kids wanted more chips which we said yes. By the time he returned, he literally walked right in front of the other waiter bringing our food to bring the chips. By the way, there isnt a doubt in my mind that these chips and salsa are straight from the store. The plate with the rice and beans provided some levity for a bad meal. The plate was obviously microwaved as the edges of the beans we cooked more than the middle and the rice appeared freezer burnt. The hard taco on my plate was mushy from sitting in lettuce water from the other item on the plate. This other item was some kind of shell covered in lettuce, tomato, guac, etc. When I attempted to fold it over, it was basically oatmeal it had been sitting so long. The chili relleno was identical to the boxes of frozen appetizers you get from Sams Club. The place did have nice decor, but there appears to be some kind of dance club downstairs that was blasting club music that was easily heard at our table and the bass was vibrating the floor. There is absolutely nothing authentic about this place.

I used to be a regular but boy has that changed. On our last visit my wife and I were puzzled by the strange tasting cheese that covered our meals. We asked the waiter who explained emphatically that the only cheese they had in the kitchen was american, as in processed sliced american singles. Who ever heard of american cheese as a staple of Mexican cuisine? I wouldnt have to go very far to find authentic queso blanco in any of a number of stores in the area but this Mexican restaurant cared not to do so. On our way out the door I asked to speak with a manager and was told "she isnt here today". What? Ive never known a restaurant not to have a manager working during a busy weekend dinner shift. They obviously just didnt care. Some number of weeks or months ago I would have given this restaurant a great rating. Right now Im sad that I cant give anything lower than 1 star. Based on my last, and final, visit that is one star too many. Disgusted in Bucks County
