Everyone deserves a second chance. We dined here several years back and had a very disappointing visit. Bad food, poor service, and improper food handling, so weve stayed away. Recently Ive noticed lots of great reviews and decided to give El Dorado a second shot. I am very happy to say that we had a completely different experience the second time around. In fact the owner of Aquiles himself was there, welcomed us warmly as if we were old friends and provided exemplary service. We tried the steak burrito and two of the tacos, the mahi-mahi and the spicy pork. I wont eat tilapia, which is what most places in town use for their fish tacos. So I was glad to see that Eldorado uses only dolphin aka mahi-mahi . The servings were adequate size, well-seasoned, and freshly prepared. We loaded them up with toppings like cabbage, spicy pickled carrots, and pico de gallo and some hot Salsas from the salsa bar. We were also thrilled to see jibarito sodas and real Coca-Cola, just like in Mexico. I loved being able to order a tamarind soda just like in Ensenada. Being one to not ignore my sweet tooth, we also tried there two desserts: flan and a slice of tres leches cake, both made in house. The flan is different than what you might find elsewhere in town, its the real deal, and made with cream cheese -- but not accompanied by the typical caramel sauce you might expect. The tres leches was moist and had good flavor, but an unusual texture, not soft, but kind of grainy. Turns out it is made gluten free. Not my favorite but probably a popular item because its GF. Im glad we made the effort to return and give El Dorado a second chance. We are fans now, for sure. After having tried (and been dusappointed in) the new Fuego in downtown Rehoboth... will be coming here for our authentic taco fix.

Amazing place! I had the fish and chorizo tacos and they were both easily the best Ive had. All the salsas and guacamole were freshly made, delicious. Really wish I had known about it the last time we visited. Dont forget to try the desserts as well, also made fresh daily. Great prices on top of all, cant recommend enough!

Nice place to grab a quick bite. The fish tacos are ok. I got them as I enjoy a good fish taco but not the best. Wish there was a little more seasoning but not bad. The burrito was very good! Rice and beans were so so. The prices are excellent.

Great place to eat fresh food, fish and shrimp tacos are amazing. Great for groups as well. Not to forget about the free salsa bar, cool t-shirts and friendly staff. What can I say just what the owner says "Nothing fancy, just fresh"

The owner was so friendly and helpful when I asked about vegan options. The fried tofu burritos and guac were amazing. After our meal we bought burritos to bring home! Would definitely eat here again.

Wicked good fish tacos and ceviche. The sangria is great, too. If you like spicy food, you have to try the pickled onions. If thats not hot enough, you can ask for some pickled habeneros.

Love this place and all that goes with it. By far the best Mexican food in the state. Achilles (owner) does magic with his fried mahi mahi tacos. Fresh healthy and absolutely delicious.

This place is a staple. Before moving to the area it was always one of my first stops when visiting. The baja shrimp burrito was always worth the five hour drive down.

This is just OK. Good for carnivores, but not so great for vegetarians. A little overpriced for the quantity.

Portions of fish on fish taco was meager. Out side of that, the fish taco was very good.
