En mi opinión lo único mexicano que tiene este restaurante es la decoración soy mexicano y se distinguir un auténtico platillo mexicano y una imitación gourmet , pregunté de dónde era el cocinero y me dijeron que era de Guatemala ya que los frijoles que ofrece este lugar son de muy mala calidad la tortilla es de harina y no de maíz las carnitas no tenían un buen sabor los camarones fue lo único rescatable de la orden no tienen variedad de aguas frescas ni refrescos mexicanos, Los empleados del lugar tienen poco conocimiento de los platillos mexicanos y una pobre atención cuando se les pregunta al respecto mucho que desear este lugar.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! I ordered take out and the food they gave me was MOSTLY not what I ordered. I ONLY received ONE out of the three appetizers I ordered and two appetizers I didnt order. Out of THREE main dishes they got ONE correct and, again, gave me two I didnt order. They didnt provide wraps for the fajitas and NO TORTILLA CHIPS (I ordered a dish that comes with extra chips). They charged me $82.00 for food I didnt order. THE WORST PART WAS THEIR RESPONSE WHEN I CALLED -- COME BACK AND WE WILL GIVE YOU THE CHIPS AND FAJITA WRAPS. DO NOT EAT AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!!!!

I love this place! The staff is almost always polite and friendly. The food is consistently very good. And the ambience, although cheesy, is fun and very "Mayan/Mexican". I highly recommend the Mexican pizza (I aint saying its authentic...). Crispy and cheesy with a little kick from the jalapeños and the chorizo. I also recommend many of the meal combos- but be warned, portions are huge.

im not sure what people expect when they go to a mexican restaurant. but this is real mexican food. i go to mexico quite often. dim lights and shabby buildings are real. this place is as close as ive come in the states. great food. mexican food. not tex mex garbage. maybe the reviewers should stay away from taco bell. dummies

My wife and I have gone to Casa Maya a few times now. The food is great. Its well made, well presented, and thoroughly enjoyable. Theres always so much of it that we have leftovers. I recommend it to anybody whos coming through the area, or lives within 30 minutes of it. The trip is well worth it.

Cute local place festively decorated. Food is good, but you need to be specific. Fajitas were too oily the first time so the second time I stressed minimal oil and was not disappointed. They are very flexible with food restrictions. BYOB. Great liquor store down the street.

Filling Tex Mexican in a festive environment decorated with flags and lights and mobiles. You can watch the High Bridge commuter trains go by as you eat. The chips are warm and the salsa tasty. The beans are really good. We enjoyed all our entrees.

Great food!!! I dont like the chicken though. But their enchiladas and camarones al ajillo are amazing! I dont like the decor. It looks cheap but at the end of the day I go there to eat and not to judge their decor taste.
