When you have a hankering for American Mexican food, El Taco Loco hits the spot. Their chimichangas are quite good and my wife loves the shrimp especiale burrito. Salsas are fresh and tasty and their fixings bar is usually well-stocked. So why not higher than three stars? I find the food to be somewhat inconsistent for example the beans and rice were undercooked the other day. And the amount of stake in the steak burrito is minimal compared to the filler. While I will still go there, there are better options for authentic Mexican food in the area.

I never review places and would rate this place ZERO stars but cant. This place BLOWS !!! Here right now waiting for over (1) one-hour for crappy food. There are (4) four elderly people working behind the counter and they are working slower than molasses. This place used to be tolerable but its down right deplorable now!!! Not clean either. STAY AWAY and spend your money else ware in town. This place is BAD, BAD, BAD BAD !!! Go to the other Mexican restaurant in New Hope on the river (Rt 32) near the bridge that place ROCKS!!!

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The staff was not friendly but what I really care about was the food and it was horrible. I should have paid attention to the warning sighs which were the place was dirty, hardly any customers and the worst part there were some flies. I totally agree with one of the previous reviews that whoever gives this restaurant more than one star is because they like mediocre food. Lets put it this way taco bell has better Mexican food.

For some reason, I used to love this place when I was younger. Im not sure if its because the food has decreased in quality or if Ive taken off my rosy colored glasses. The food is decent, nothing special. The portions are quite large but the prices arent cheap. The decor is a little cheesy and the place has an air of being unclean. I still may go back but with a little less excitement this time.

I know real Mexican food and this is not it. They are rude and unprofessional. I went with a group of friends and the man that took our order was so rude when we asked what was in the platter he gave us a smart ass remark. When the food came out it was cooled and tasteless. In the end I couldnt stomach the food and wasted $30 on it. If your looking for the real deal this isnt the place.

Tried to send a message regarding a recent experience at El Taco Loco. I have been there several times. Food and service was medicore. Last time however the guy working was waisted. Arrived with a full order of guacomoe which was a runny mess. Said they ran out of avocados and charged for the usuall which used to be pretty good. Paid the bill and dont plan to return.

ordered over the phone and when I went to pick up the food the order was totally wrong. the lady on the phone spoke very little English which is probably why the order is wrong. not saying shes terrible or anything. but if youre gonna have someone answer the phone they should at least be fluent in English.

Food was pretty good. The floor was a bit sticky and the place looks a bit run down. They have a salsa bar and the salsa and guacamole was pretty tasty. Not at all crowded for a Saturday night in New Hope.

I cant believe this place has so many good reviews. If you are satisfied with caned refried beans on a cheap tortilla than this is the place for you. If not, dont waste your time.
