Dear God the Korean Udon Noodle Bowl from the Market Street Bar & Grill in Scranton is beyond Epic. Jammed with Korean Sweet Chili, Soy and Garlic Sauce , Udon and Zucchini Noodles, Cabbage, Edamame Julienne Cucumber, SesameSeeds, and CrunchyCroutons. All I can say is that this dish is definitely a hell of a good meal and deserves a standing ovation and two thumbs up for authenticity, appearance and taste. I havent seen one of these on my foodie journeys here in NEPA and I am so glad that I was able to broaden my horizons and my taste buds with some Korean culture right here in the heart Scranton Pennsylvania. There Bread Bowl is Hands down my favorite menu item to date. I have been there many times and this Smoked Ham, Roasted Potato, and Split Pea Soup served in a fresh, fluffy, bread bowl really impressed me. My mouth is watering now just thinking about it. The best part? They give you extra bread to dip in the soup . If you love Thai food youre going to love the Thai Peanut Chicken Wrap. Fresh, Flavorful, and Fun. Overflowing with Chicken, Tossed Rice Noodles, Asian Sesame Vegetable Slaw, Sesame Seeds, Crushed Peanuts, Sriracha Aioli, in a Grilled Thai Ginger Wheat Wrap.Your tastebuds will be tantalized after eating this dish House Tacos from the Market Street Bar & Grill in Scranton, PA. What can I say? Theyre probably some of the best, if not the best Tacos Ive ever had. Tomato Salsa, Cabbage, Lime Cream, and Avocado. Served with a side of you choice on a crunchy corn (GF) and/or flour tortilla. Good for vegetarians and meat eaters! Wow! I couldnt get enough of this starter. I really loved this appetizer: Scallops, Featuring Pumpkin Gnocci. House made with Seared sea scallops spiced with pumpkin gnocchi sautéed in sage infused with brown maple butter, baby spinach, caramelized onions, pecans, apple, dried cranberries, and maple drizzle. Market Street Bar & Grill is very accommodating and amazing. Head on down, sit back, relax and let Chefs/Owners Danielle and Peter wow you and your appetite.

Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, and restaurant was strangely quiet... We were one of only 3 tables. I honestly cannot understand why, as my food was out of this world. I will be back soon. I had the Korean Noodle Bowl. (which is NOT on the lunch menu l, sadly. The server had to ask the chef if it was possible for us to have it for lunch. Luckily, he obliged.) My ONLY constructive feedback, is that there was no atmosphere in the dining section at all. We were sitting in the rather small dining area, and a table close to us had a really difficult child that just would not stop screaming. Not the restaurants fault, but since there was no music at all playing in the dining area, the absolute silence just made the screaming child a little more pronounced.

This was my first time there.The food was out of this world.Absolutely the best salad Ive ever had.The waiter was very nice, The only two problems were..for it being a very nice place I dont think the waiter should of been wearing shorts and a jacket hanging off his shoulders.and the other one happened when we were waiting to pay our bill.I choose not to put it in my review.but if the owner or who reads these reviews wants to p m me I will tell you.

One of my new favorite restaurants. The food - while it may take a little longer when busy - is always made to order and is fresh. The wait staff is pleasant even when theyre slammed. Bar has decent beer selection as well as house specialties. Ive tried almost every burger option they have, and I would recommend all of them. Get the fried pickle starter, and ALWAYS get the mac and cheese side - its the stuff cravings are made of.

Inventive, unique, and thoughtful menu options! Everything Ive eaten here has been delicious and unlike any other food Ive eaten anywhere else. Everything is made in house, including sides, and has an authentic homemade charm. This is an exquisite dining experience in a casual yet classy environment. I absolutely love it!

Amazing Bar and restaurant with really friendly staff. My roommate and I would study during dinner before every exam and they let us stay as late as we wanted and was a great way to review and unwind before our exams. Thank you for helping us through the first two years of med school. We will miss this place.

One of the best places in Scranton to grab a top shelf meal. The waitstaff treats you as if you are family. The food is far better than the price dictates. There isnt a bad meal on the menu. If you have not been yet, do yourself a favor and go.
