The food at this place is alright, at best. My biggest complaint is the personnel that work there and the way they treat the customer! This owner hires a bunch of youngsters to work there who are rude, sarcastic, and outright offensive! What makes it worse is when you try to state your complaint to the owner, he ALIBIS for their behavior! During a recent visit, because one the younger workers couldnt accurately explain a substitution issue on the menu, he started screaming at me right in the store! Screaming at a customer??? Are you kidding me?? What made it worse was when the owner came out of the back when he heard the raised voices, he started explaining the menu issue to me instead of turning to that employee and saying, "YOURE FIRED!" (Im guessing hes MORE interested in maintaining cheap labor than customers.) The owner then told me about issues the kid had, etc. Seriously?? And hes just going to excuse that? Unreal! The final straw came about 20 minutes later when a call came into my cell phone from the "Chicken Time" phone number. Since I missed the call, it went into my voice mail. I played the message back and all it the entire 18 seconds of message was the sound of someone either repeatedly pushing a cash register button or the one of the phone keypad buttons. I went the next day and before I played it for the owner, he lied right to my face and told me that it was him calling me back because I forgot an item with my order. I played it back and afterward just looked at him and said, "A this endless series of beeps is you telling me I forgot something???" If you have no concern or standard about how your are treated then, by all means, feel free to go to "Chicken Time." But if you have reasonable expectations of any place you do business with, avoid this joint like the plague.

>Just moved in to the area, checking it out >Moved tons of crap into my apartment. Getting late. >hungerintensifies.jpg >Me, typical white-collar dude, walks into this complete dive >Typical IDGAF hole-in-the-wall >Everythings dirty and dusty >No A/C >Ceiling tiles are badly discolored >Order a combo. Chicken thigh, two ribs, and fries. $11 with a soda. >"You gotta wait 15 minutes" >Actually takes 15 minutes because theyre actually cooking it fresh >Eyebrow raised >Ask for napkins. Get a whole stack. >Hustle this skanky styrofoam container into my car >Open her up >motherofgod.jpg >Get on the turnpike in a real hurry so I can eat >Still blazing hot, the container is completely filled to the brim. Theres a huge leg AND a huge thigh, three huge ribs, fries everywhere >Takes me the majority of the car ride home to eat it. Theres that much food. >Chicken is out of this world. Crispiness of the fried chicken and fries is off the wall. They use cheap white potatoes but somehow manage to get insane flavor out of them anyway >Ribs >heavybreathing.jpg >I know how to cook some goddamn ribs >These people REALLY know how to cook some goddamn ribs >5 ALL DAY

At first I doubted this establishment. It wasnt too appealing on its drab, mysterious exterior. But the inside is filled with something other-worldly. Although Chicken Time lacks in its aesthetic value, it boasts an enormous menu with many options ranging from seafood to, well, chicken! Chicken Time serves up some of the most exquisite pieces of local meats, and dominates the area as one of the most profound and absolutely delicious chicken spots in the area. The food is cooked with locally purchased cuts and vegetables, and they offer many healthy options for paleo-dieting enthusiasts. The delivery boy, Dan, is also one of the greatest delivery boys, or should I say delivery MEN, in the tri-state area. I will say no more, go CHICKEN TIME!

Light breaded chicken so its nice crispy. Crab cakes have peppers and celery in them. Not mushy at all, about inch thick. Rib sandwich is just like the Mc Rib. Not my kind of thing but the bbq sauce was really good. Mozzarella sticks might be oven backed. Full cheese not stingy. Fries were nothing special, had a little burnt taste like the oil is due for a change. Mash potatoes and gravy were pretty good.

Just ordered delivery from here usually never have a problem. the prices Google give you are WRONG. I calculated the price and got about $31, CT gave me a price of $40. I called to clarify the price difference and the OWNER of the store was nasty, and hung up on me. This will be the LAST TIME I ORDER FROM CHICKEN TIME. PS.. For it being a CHICKEN PLACE THEY HAVE AWFULLY SMALL WINGS.

This is the best fried chicken joint around. They got the simple recipes right, and they deliver (literally). The pricing is dead on, whether its 40 pieces of fried chicken, or a "snack." Dont miss the rib patty sandwich. Its like the McRib, only all year round. I love this place.

The bone-in chicken is fresh (never frozen) just like at the chains. The other food seems just as fresh, not pre-frozen or canned like at many restaurants. The store is a dump. The staff is a bit slow and rude. The prices are average for the area. You could do far worse.

I really like this place they do chicken in so many ways and a lot of side orders for your chicken. Im unsure if they do delivery, there staff is really nice two. Only downside is they can get packed if a sports game is on that week.

awesome food, my only wish is that I knew about this place sooner. Very small inconspicuous location in a shopping center. Some of the best wings Ive ever had.
