My experience was a mixed bag. The drink specials were good and the food was decent. I also liked the outdoor seating and bar area. The waitress at the start was also attentive and nice. If that was all this review would have been a 4-5/5. Unfortunately as the day started to end and our group wanted to leave, we asked for the checks...and that was when it went all downhill. There was miscommunication and the waitress unfortunately did not do seperate checks so we had to go through every single thing ordered in our 10+ group. I did feel sorry initially for the waitress since she had to review our seperate orders but once she left, it took an additional !!!45 minutes!!! to come back with our checks. All the while, we were waiting at the outside table and the day was getting darker and colder outside. Not only that we could see the waitress helping her other tables and giving them their checks and finishing up with them first. The only reason I could see was that our group was 10+ while the other tables had 2-4 customers. Still the fact that they called and got their checks before us and were able to pay and leave while we continued to wait was not right. It got to the point where one of the people in my group called the tavern number to speak to the manager about how unsatisfied we were waiting for so long for a check to go home. He was quick to come to our table and initially seemed apologetic and trying to unruffle feathers however he then became abrupt and stating "oh youre going to pay before leaving." By that point the waitress came back with the checks and we ultimately just paid to be done with it. The waitress did apologize for how things went stating that it took her awhile to seperate our checks (either way i think 45 minutes is a little overkill). It was the manger, Bart, however that just left a bad taste in my mouth. Not once did he apologize for what happened and once the waitress arrived with the checks he left soon after. I was very disappointed with how this visit went and do not think I will be coming back.

Decided to give it a try last night after failing to get a table at Flanigans. The Good: Great atmosphere. The warm aroma of smoke from the smoldering fireplace made the atmosphere very authentic. The menu was very creative. Very hard time choosing from all the intriguing/creative options. We both were very excited and wanted to try everything. Very generous portions. Our server Chad was great! Attentive and personable (trying to make the moody 8yr old laugh). Constantly apologizing and giving updates from the kitchen The Bad: The kitchen. I had the Salmon and shrimp in pastry and my Girlfriend had the Maple Teriyaki Glazed Ahi Tuna and we shared a calamari Appetizer. The appetizer came out long after we finished our salads, which I can only presume were served first to cover for the slowness on the Appetizer. Chad reassured us multiple times after we finished our salads that the calamari was coming. When our entrees finally arrived I noticed that the Tuna appeared over cooked. After few minutes we both turned to each other and remarked that the clams casino risotto we had both ordered as a side and were really looking forward too was so salty it was nearly inedible. The Tuna was indeed way overcooked, only one piece being even slightly pink and a better description would have been tuna in log cabin glaze. The glaze was thick and tasted like pancake syrup. My dish was tasty but the pastry was soggy and tough. To their credit the situation was handled appropriately and meal and drinks were comped and a complimentary desert and gift card offered. Conclusion: The front of the house is writing checks that the kitchen cant cash.

Despite having a nice outdoor dining and bar area, they have consistently poor service. We saw our server perhaps 5 times total, and 2 of those times were to drop our check (which we had to flag her down to request) and her return with our payment slips. We placed our order on her initial visit to the table because we had time to review the menu during our 30 minute wait. Our food took about an hour to arrive and was delivered incomplete. The server did not check back on our food for about 20 minutes at which time we had to ask for the rest of our food. I understand that it was a busy Saturday night and we did not expect great service, but that does not excuse the terrible service we received. Unfortunately, this is not unusual to expect from this establishment. I should mention we fared better than the table next to us. Their food took what appeared to be a great deal longer to arrive, paired with the same poor level of service. I believe their order eventually came out and was incorrect so the gentleman delivering it, presumably a manager, told them that he planned to comp most of the items.

We were here for a family dinner. We were verbally assaulted by another patron when we entered. Only when this was brought to the attention of a bouncer was it addressed. The rude patron was allowed to stay on the premises. Wait was longer than stated by the staff. Food was not delivered at the same time, so...some were waiting while others could eat. To wait meant cold food for the timely delivered food. Melted butter was spilled next to 3 patrons. Suede shoes (worn for the first time) were ruined. When asked to speak to a manager, we were told "accidents happen" by a manager. Steak delivered with no steak knife. Steak was requested to be medium. It was pink, but oddly dry. Not good quality for $22. Our waitress Katie was great! Poor girl. She had to take all our complaints. She was sympathetic and understanding. Dont think well be back for a while. Going to wait & see if the behind the scenes work improves.

My wife and 2 kids and i just got back from the Beverly Hills Tavern. We loved the idea of the outdoor seating and the sand for our children to play in. Those are also the only 2 things we can recommend. We found the food to be average, but the bugs and service were exceptionally poor. The gnats swarmed us and we had to move tables. Although they cant really control the bugs, maybe cleaning the tables and chairs more thoroughly/frequently would help. The service was equally poor. I thought they are called "waitresses" because they wait on customers, not the other way around. our particular waitress worked really hard to bring her tip from 20% to, ultimately, 12%. Its a real shame as we really wanted to like the place when we drove into the parking lot. High schoolers...ugh!

Food/Drinks/Atmosphere all 10/10 ... hostess situation is an un-organized and not thought out. Last week they told us it was a 25min wait. I saw an empty table or two but just assumed the servers there were too busy to throw another table at them. After waiting 25 min they rang the buzzer only to seat us at the table we were looking at. I should have said something but at the time I guess I gave them too much credit. The process seems to be the customer leaves, bus-boy cleans the table. No one tells the hostess they have to keep eyes on the tables and send people over when they see. If we arent going to go old school and have a laminated layout maybe we can put a proper POS together. I will adjust my review accordingly after more visits.
