My boyfriend and I were just going to eat lunch at home today but we seen the Chicken Waffle Tenders advertised recently and wanted to get them again since theyre a limited time item. So we go in and theres only 2 other people eating in the store so we order right away and I said Ill have the 3 piece waffle tenders and she told me that "last nights shift screwed them and they had to filter the fryer" still. I told her thats the only reason we came out to popeyes because we were excited to get those. Working as a fast food manager for 4 years I tried to be understanding, so we ordered something else. The man in the back said "thats the last spicy, I gotta filter and clean" and my boyfriend and I just laughed because not only did they not have spicy after he recieved his old stale tenders they also didnt have waffle. Not only that, while we placed our order the women on register kept refuring to my boyfriend as "boss". Thats incredibly unprofessional and my boyfriend told me he hates being called boss and said if he was the boss theyd have everything or get it at that sale price. I normally dont complain but EVERYTIME we come to this popeyes theres ALWAYS something. For $20 for 2 meals is ridiculous, then receiving old, greasy food is even worse. Then as we were eating what we didnt want we heard the coworkers and manager complaining about another worker. Thats the last thing we want to hear as we eat in Popeyes. They did NOTHING to make us happy after we showed our dissatisfaction. Then when we were about to leave a couple came in and tried to order the waffle tenders and at first she was saying they didnt have them then the man in the back said he could make them. My question is, as I used to open the store is, why didnt you do the fryers before opening? It was 11:30! Plenty of time to be up and running by then. And if not we shouldve got a coupon or a meal for free. We recieved nothing. Im disgusted with the whole visit and dont think Ill ever be back and we love Popeyes Chicken. Sincerely, not the BOSS.

The food is always good but the service is absolutely lousy. The past 6 times Ive been there, theyve screwed up my order. Ive ordered a 4 piece, to get home to see a 3 piece. Ive had the wrong side orders a number of times and gone back to get the right ones. Ive ordered apple pies and gotten to work, only to find no apple pie, a couple of times. I cant tell you how many times Ive checked the order before Ive left and had to ask what Ive paid for!

I have been a Popeyes fan since the 80s, when they were so hard to find in the northeast. This one is only about 20 minutes from home, so not too bad. Great cajun spiced food. My only caution would be to make sure you check your order in the drive through. Most times they are correct, but its a real pain if I dont check and they make a mistake (which has happened enough times that I always check now) Also, great tasting unsweetened iced tea!

The last 2 times weve gone through the drive-thru, our order has been wrong. We always get the 8 PC family meal, spicy with an extra side. Last time we were missing a side. Tonight, the spicy chicken isnt, and the 4 biscuits we assumed were in the box with the chicken were not. The chicken is lukewarm, at best. What happened, Popeyes?? Poor, poor performance.

Great location. Popeyes has consistantly good food for a reasonable price. This location now has one of the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines. The owner and manager are really nice. They even let you call ahead if you want the naked tenders that take a bit to prepare.

this is the SLOWEST pop eyes ever! and like all other pop eyes it takes a lot of $ to fill you up. Ive been here 3 times in waited 20 minutes with other people to get my food every time. The food is good there obviously its fried chicken

Love coming to this popeyes. Store Is clean, staff friendy and food is great. I travel from Reading to eat there. I went to Norristown because we were in the area but once we got there we didnt even get out we just drove to Pottstown.

We stop in occasionally. The Cajun chicken a pretty ordinary, even a bit bland for Cajun. Its fast food so what can you expect. Their chicken breast isnt as meaty as KFC. Their coating masks the lack of meat underneath.
