Dear Mr. Kamal, I drove from Baltimore/DC area which is 100 miles from your place just because I can have nice dinner for a special occasion with my family in North Delaware. When I pay $107 + $13 tip for a take out dinner, I was expecting you would ensure I receive all food I ordered. It is quite disappointing that your server forgot to give us two platters considering restaurant was almost empty on Tuesday night. When I called and expressed how upset I was, dont tell me not to get upset and raise the voice. Dont overturn and counter question me if I had made any mistake in past. Of course I have made mistakes. Of course I was expecting you to give me full refund but you were supposed to listen my concern. Of course I would not want you to deliver the damn appetizer because our location was 20 minutes away. I had no reason to trust your service and obviously didnt want to keep the guests waiting for the appetizer platters. I understand you accepted that you made a mistake but you didnt have to accuse me that I was swearing. I didnt use a single bad word. Yes I was upset and angry but I had a reason that you ruined our occasion which was more worth than your food and $120 I paid for it. In future, if you are really sorry, show some humility not attitude. Cheers,

It was a really bad experience using the banquet hall in place of Asia for my baby 1st Bday. The hall is lack of proper AC (cooling system). And the management is hiding fact about the cooling system and they keep saying the AC is working . It was too much horrible in a sunny day when my guests left the hall before the function finishes because of the cooling issues. Post party the manager was reluctant to accept the fact and did not considered to give any discount on payments. I am lucky they severed some good food. There is no proper coordination between the manager and the owner . The owner troubled us while we are doing the decoration in the hall asking not to user certain sticking materials like push pins and cello tapes where was manager did not say anything about it. So while booking here make few points clear.

I went for the lunch buffet - it was around $10.50 and there were a variety of all chicken or vegetable dishes. That is no complaint, actually I really like chicken and each was sufficiently different to keep the taste buds interested. The vegetable dishes were all really great as well. The atmosphere was very nice, decor great. I was only slightly uncomfortable by the utter silence in the place (it was me on my own and then another table of 4 really focusing on their food). They dont like you to try and conserve plates - so take a new one instead of bringing an already used one up. All and all the food hit the spot. I wish the environment was a tad more relaxed. And note that the restaurant already charges you a 15% gratuity (which is weird for a single person at lunch time?) - so any extra tip is not necessary.

This was one of the best (if not the best) Indian restaurant Ive ever been to. The prices were reasonable, the ambiance is perfect to impress a date or have lunch/ dinner with family and friends. The food was really fresh. Their vegetarian options were so many and delicious; I could have eaten them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The best part about the place is that the owner and the General Manager is constantly floating around in the dining area to make sure our experience is a memorable one. Also, Great service with friendly servers. Highly recommend this facility and its now on the top of my list. You wont be disappointed. Its a casual, comfortable place to grab some lunch or dinner.

The server here is racist. After entering the restaurant he saw us and asked us to stop. After coming to us he said that Indian have an habit of walking down and taking a table. We are very well aware that we have to wait to be seated. Not sure why there was an assumption that everybody would walk down. We also saw another difference in behavior. The server gave us water without ICE, he didnt to ask is what is out preference. On the other hand we have the same server giving water with ice. Again this time he didnt ask. However this time the group was white. I dont understand why there was discrimination done by the server in this restaurant when everybody are charged same.

AVANI AND BHARAT C. SHAH. 07/22/14. WE HAVE BEEN REGULARS AT THE PALACE OF ASIA, BECAUSE WE ENJOYED THE EXCELLENT FOOD, MADE TO OUR TASTE, SERVED WITH COURTESY AND SMILE AND EVEN THE MANAGER CHECKS ON US IF EVERYTHING IS TO OUR LIKING. THE DECOR IS VERY PLEASANT, SOOTHING AND EXCELLENT, BETTER THAN ANY LOCAL RESTAURANTS IN THE AREA, INDIAN OR OTHERWISE. WE WOULD VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE PALACE OF ASIA TO ANYONE WHO LIKES INDIAN FOOD OR WOULD LIKE TO TRY IT. FOOD : 5 STARS. SERVICE : 5 STARS. DECOR : 5 STARS.

We have been to a lot of Indian restaurants because my wife loves it (I dont) But I have to say this place is wonderful! Each meal has been prepared to the wished for spiciness without compromising flavor. We absolutely love it from decor to service, Our server besides being very helpful and friendly had no problem understanding us and get our order just right. I cant praise this restaurant enough! Only thing they should change is the outside you cant tell there is a Indian restaurant here Again thank you ! for 2 wonderful dinners so far

This used to be our go to place for indian food but lately the quality has really gone down. The pakora used to be a large portion of different vegetables but now is a much smaller selection. The lamb we had recently was tough and quite overcooked. The lunch buffet might still be worth a go, but the weekend selection always seems to put the cheaper food out (goat instead of lamb etc) The service was never great but at least the food used to be better. we moved on to going to star of india right down the road on newport gap pike.

We had a party for a group of 20 and we had the worst experience and worst service. Looking at a large group they took advantage of charging more. The 18% gratuity was not worth even a penny. For a 3 hr party, we had to wait for 2 hrs for food. If you are planning to go for a drink, better avoid going there. They just simply looted money by charging 2 times of what we had. There are better Indian restaurants around this area where you can take your own drink and enjoy!
