There are two storefronts, so at first I wasnt sure which door to enter. I did not know if I wanted just water-ice or if I wanted to peruse the pastries. I finally entered the ice cream door and was disappointed to see that although they had a shared kitchen, I was not able to see the other offerings. It was a slow day, so when I walked inside the staff members were not at the counter, but further back enjoying their own water-ice, so it took a minute or two to receive service. It was a little off putting since I was the only one in the store and I could see what they were doing. Regardless the water-ice was reasonably priced and most importantly delicious! Next time I think I will check out the pastry side; sitting outside enjoying my water-ice, I did notice people coming out with milkshakes and other treats, so maybe there is a shared menu on that side.

Went to the store on Fairmount twice with partner. Both times, we waited an absurd amount of time for our order. The first time, we waited several minutes only to find out one of the machines broke. We got our order ten minutes later. The second time, my partner had to remind the them that we were still waiting for our order. After my partner reminded them, our order came out after a minute or two, which makes me wonder if the workers actually forgot the order. The servings are decent, but we can find similar quantity and quality for cheaper elsewhere. And probably get better service, too.

Do you remember the episode of Seinfeld called "Non-Fat Yogurt"? Where Jerry, Elaine and George eat at a FroYo/Ice Cream shop because of the INCREDIBLE non-fat yogurt they have - which ends up being full of fat and they gain a bunch of weight? WELL, Philly Flavors froyo is so good I cant believe its non-fat. The Reeses Peanut Butter Swirl froyo is so off the hook I crave it daily. I typically like to order crumbled Snickers on top - BOOM - out of control. Do it. Do it.

They have unimaginable flavors of ice cream, shakes, and milkshakes that youd immediately fall in love with. I gave 4 stars because I dont like how I have to wait in such a tiny place, it gets very crowded and hot...sometimes messy with all the ice cream falling over when trying to move through the lines. But getting ice cream is worth the long wait in the line, just not standing in small space.

I lived in this neighborhood for all my life..and my favorite place to go to is Philly flavors...they started from a small store and now expanded into a larger ice cream and coffee shop.all flavors are homemade and amazing...homemade cheesecake and cookies...enjoy delicious ice cream while in a very sporty atmosphere..lots of flat screen TVs and friendly customer servicd...I love it

The ice cream is cheaper than most other places in the area. I think it tastes better than any of the other places around. You get the most for your money here. They also have fresh delicious cookies! P.S. The Banana Splits are huge and covered in fresh fruit. Make sure you tell them what you want on it because if you dont specify, it comes with a lot of different things!

Amazing! Homemade ice-cream, water ice, cookies! They also have THE BEST ice cream cakes! $45 but can feed at least 50 ppl! The portions are huge! My recommendations: Oreo ice cream/milkshake, birthday cake ice cream. I honestly cant think of a better place for ice cream. Its always SUPER busy during the summer & even stays open all winter which why Ive gained weight! :)

Service is absolutely awful! The kid behind the counter has messed up our order more than once. The last and final time my boyfriend and I stepped in there, we had to remind him twice for one item from our order and he still never got around to it. We ended up leaving after this disaster and wont be back. If you want to be treated rudely, this is the place to go.

Im a frequent vistor to Custards and Cakes Creamy so you have to be really good to even coming close to comparing to their deliciousness. Philly Flavors didnt do it for me. It could have been the flavor I had. I ordered by accident due to being confused by their menu Mocha Chocolate wasnt what I thought it was. It wasnt terrible but it also wasnt great.

Great place to check out after coming out of Terror Behind Walls across the street. Water ices are great and refreshing and come in a wide assortment of flavors. You can also mix and match frozen yogurts, ice cream, and water ice together to your customized liking. Great place to relax and hang out with friends!

Be ready to wait! Since theyve expanded they run this place like a restaurant kitchen where your order is taken and then you wait. 10minutes for a kids size soft serve cone on a slow afternoon! Before you were in and out with prompt service, ive never had to wait at an ice cream parlor

Tonight the service was great but my funnel cake was over cooked and crunchy and burned. It even had a funny taste to it my daughter says it taste like it was cooked in old chicken grease. The other day my hard serve ice cream was soft as ever. This used to be favorite spot.

My friend and I did not have to wait long at all for our water ice! Definitely a treat that we look forward to when visiting from Chicago! I had a combination of Strawberry pineapple water ice! It was absolutely wonderful! I cannot wait until my next visit to have it again!

Ice cream is ok. Ordered three different items from the menu, asked for an extra cup to share with my one year old baby and they charged me for it! Lol! If you are looking for waffle ice cream sandwiches and are ever in NYC Mikey Likes It smashes this place!

The best water ice and in many different flavors to choose frrom..... the same for their ice cream. U can mix up your flavors. Creative items to choose from. Has outdoor sitting. Great service. There are times it can be crowded but its worth the wait.

They have a ton of flavors and toppings, etc, and the serving sizes are extremely generous. But its not always worth the wait. In the evenings the line often extends out the door, and the service is slow to begin with. But their ice cream is great!

All in all there are many other places that make their ice cream on site that are better for the price. The ice cream is more sweat than flavorful. Texture is pretty good. Kids will be happy with it. It does NOT make my BESegal Ice Cream Tour.

The biggest ice cream cone I have ever had. Damn near sprained my wrist. I was rocking and humming the whole time, brain freeze and all. Locations are open all year long. The ice cream sandwiches and flavor variations are delicious

Worst icecream Ive ever had. Its a shame they call themselves the best icecream in philly. Their homemade banana icecream taste like sand, and their mint icream is pure ice not a bit cream, and the chocolate chips tasted like wax

This place is the best! They make the long wait worthwhile, because the menu is so extensive. They have everything from water ice to homemade funnel cake. We thoroughly enjoyed our treat, it was a fun way to end date night.
