When I went with my family it was terrible. They dont have water pitchers and you drink in small Dixie cups or u buy water bottles, but thats okay since its a business after all. We got a simple dosa with sambaar and chutney. The sambar was spoiled and so was the chutney. Then we ordered a veg biryani and we are strictly vegetarian...they messed up our order and gave us chicken!!!! We also got a veg tofu dish and instead of tofu they gave us chicken. So this has actually happened to us three times. We gave them three chances but now we are officially done!!!!! On top of that we didnt get a refund and you have to pay before you get food and in return for messing up two dishes he gave us a spoiled mango lassi and two water bottles.I highly suggest going elsewhere. Loctuc street has a lot of amazing restaurants. Go to one of those. If u r vegetarian I suggest going elsewhere.

Good and fresh food prepared in authentic Indian style. Eating there for a while and 1 thing which I like most is the attitude of person standing in front desk (I believe Rajiv is his name). Eating both North and South Indian dishes and liked it very much. My advice to those people who wants a good 1 time meal under $10 this is your place. If you gets confused about what to order, try ordering Chicken 65/ Saag Paneer/ Chicken Tikka Masala/Masala Dosa as I have been ordering them on regular basis and every time I eat them it tastes even better than the previous one.

I work a few blocks away and eat here frequently. 10 stars if you ask me. Ive tried multiple dishes from the menu and I always leave happy and full. This is by far the best Indian cuisine you will find in Center City Philadelphia. Ignore the knit-picking comments and try the place for yourself. Service might not be 100% all the time but its only because they cater to such a large crowd (due to popularity). Management is always pleasant and will correct your order if needed. DELICIOUS!!!

the guy at the front desk was very rude. I asked him if we can get extra Sambhar/curry ? he replies "sorry sir ! this is not India..Even if you go to Dunkin donuts, you cant take more than 3 ketcup packets " .. like wow ! dude..first of all, i did not ask you about my current location, seconly, the example you gave actually is incorrect ! and last but most importantly, that is blatently rude. Ofcourse, one star because the food was just as horrible as the staff

So, I got to try two of their dishes. Their lamb wrap wasnt very good, had to pour a lot of their white sauce on it to make it better. But their rice with chicken was good! Decent portion, and even better with their white sauce added too. The place was pretty empty but still took the food a while to come out. Overall, an okay place. If I came back I would just get their rice dishes.

Food is just about okay, if you are craving some south indian food. Not great dosas by any stretch of the imagination. The batter had gotten slightly sour (like uttapam batter) and the dosa was cold by the time it got to my plate. The chutney was cold. The sambar was nice, though they charge extra for it (!!). Not a must-visit AT ALL!

Biggest dosa Ive ever seen! Sure, filling it with avocado and jack cheese isnt traditional, but I feel a mutual love of coriander can bring Indian and American Mexican together. Speaking of which, the Kathi Rolls will make you wonder why curry burritos arent more popular. Definitely worth popping in for a quick meal.

A first visit revealed good idlis, ok chutney, and nice sambar. But wheres the rasam? A second visit featured absolutely terrible, old, dry, crumbly idlis, not great vada, but quite good masala dosa. On both visits the chicken curry was good, but the lack of consistency on the idlis makes a return visit unlikely.

If you want an overpriced and bland Dosa then you found the right spot. The filling inside was tasteless, we had to add our own seasoning to get a little bit of flavor. Rajiv the cashier had a snarky attitude. Took 35 mins to get two orders of dosas. Lets be real its just thin pancake with potato filling.

The dosas are enormous (and a rarity in these parts) and the platters are very filling and tasty. I wouldnt recommend the kati rolls as much since they are quite oily. I frequently see people of Indian descent eating here, if that says anything about the authenticity.

Did not like the dosas or the chutneys. The chutneys were frozen and tasted bad. The sambhar was awful too. Dosas were as unauthentic as Ive ever tasted in the US. Have no idea why this place was rated so high, everyone in my group agreed that we wouldnt eat here twice.

I was a regular visitor to this restaurant but todays experience was very disappointing and forced me give a low rating , totally taken aback by the behaviour of the reception guy. Very rude and doesnt know how to treat their guests well.

This is a Spartan restaurant. If you want a quick bite of Indian food, this is a good place. They have some innovative selection of the ever popular dosa. The Sambhar wad good, but the chutney wad not great.

Delicious food !!! Recommended for South Indian food lovers.Dosa varieties are flagships. Waiting time is more but still taste is good.Restaurant is not being cleaned instantly during rush hours. Little expensive !

Very fresh food, great location, prices quite reasonable considering their location. Staff is very friendly. Recommend trying a dosa. Its like a savory Indian-style crepe or burrito. Curry is also a good choice.

Small menu but they have options across North Indian, South Indian and Indian Chinese. Food taste is good for South Indian style crepes etc but could be better for the North Indian and Indo Chinese items.
