If you want to read the full story below go for it. Long story short. This place has a recurring problem with people breaking into vehicles parked in their lot... and they have done nothing to fix the issue. Dine here if you want, but have someone else drive. --------------------------------------------------------------- This should have been a wonderful story about our ( being Jennifer and our lovely kids. ) goodbye dinner to my Parents Scott, Veronica and Sister Jennifer. You see my family is going on an adventure, moving away, literally tomorrow. But instead my car was broken into while parked under a light in the parking lot of Olive Garden (Philadelphia). My door locking mechanism was destroyed. And my bag from work was taken. The bastards got my keys (to my house and office) a laptop, a tablet, a phone, all of my art supplies, a ton of sketchbooks, and a couple irreplaceable items (A white gold cross pen and pencil set from my grandfather, a few of his pocket knives as well. ) and also my leatherman. When we approached the manager, she said they have been having a couple problems lately, but they were worried about scaring customers away, so they didnt have anything posted. And they just dont have cameras installed quite yet. They dont even have a policy to deal with this frequent occurrence. The Philadelphia Police Department officers who arrived on scene were awesome. However they said that this issue has been going on for YEARS and the restaurant hasnt gotten cameras yet. Olive Garden doesnt seem interested in making an effort. This is so fantastic, the police actually caught someone on the OTHER SIDE OF THE BUILDING breaking into another car, and it was a different person. Yes my family and I are fine, and in the end its just stuff. But that stuff now has to be replaced, very slowly, and the money that is going to fix the car, get a new id, the doors to our house rekeyed (Already done) could have been used to do so many other things. At this point Im more annoyed at the attitude of Olive Garden, it might sound trite, but you have lost our business. Think of your customers, and brighten up the parking lot, install the damn cameras and protect peoples stuff as they enjoy their meal.

This Olive Garden location has to be the worst I have been to. The servers are not very good at their jobs, and frankly I do not think that the managers care much. My husband and I waited for half an hour for a salad and bread sticks. Then our server forgot to bring us BOTH my husbands side of mashed potatoes and my side of fettuccine alfredo pasta. When she brought our food out and asked if there was anything else we needed, I had to remind her about our side dishes. Then she brings my husband his mashed potatoes and brings me a dish of fettuccine alfredo dipping sauce! I reminded her ONCE AGAIN that my side was fettuccine alfredo pasta, not a dipping sauce (this was the third time I had to remind her). Our raspberry lemonades tasted like water instead of juice, my husbands gorgonzola steak was hard and not cooked well, and the salad only had one piece of tomato in it. This was the second time we had the same server, and she was worse than the first time she served us (the first time around she also forgot our sides and mixed up our orders)! On a previous occasion we visited this Olive Garden a huge fight broke out INSIDE the restaurant, and two parties were throwing plates, utensils, and cups at each other. Not to mention the fact that we had already been waiting for our food for over an hour that time. We have had similar troubles with other servers at this location as well, and not many of them are friendly. We never get chocolate mints any more when our bill is delivered to the table, and for some reason they are ALWAYS out of something on the menu. I have heard personal conversations between servers near the tables, and even heard one cursing about something. It is really a shame because I love Olive Garden and visit the restaurant at least once a month, but this location is just HORRIBLE! I am going to have to start traveling further out of my way in order to visit a decent Olive Garden in a different city!

Worse service, worse food, and the worse house keeping. This place smells like a garbage disposal. My wife and I went to Olive Garden the other night and I must say we were not impressed. They sat us by the kitchen where there was heavy traffic and disrupting noises. Apart from that, they sat us too close to another table, where you couldnt have a private conversation. We asked to be moved to another table/area and the host had an attitude, telling us we had to wait 15-20 minutes for another table. Mind you the restaurant was empty on a Thursday night. We waited patiently. Twenty minutes later, the host moved us to an empty booth that was unoccupied the entire time we were there. The waitress rushed us to order and couldnt explain the menu. I ordered a Strawberry Mango Margarita that was so sweet I almost went into diabetic shock and Im not even a diabetic. I couldnt drink it. I had my wife taste it and she thought it was overly sweetened. In an effort to make my margarita drinkable, I watered it down with ice but it didnt help. I told the waitress. She was unapologetic, didnt offer another drink and never discounted it from our bill. I had to pay for it. My pasta was hard, like if it had been reheated in the microwave. I couldnt eat half of it. I was hoping dessert would redeem our horrible experience but the waitress disappeared. She was gone for almost the entire time we were there. We decide to leave without desert. I grabbed the Ziosk at the end of the table, since the waitress never gave us our check. As Im going through the process of paying, the waitress comes back, looks at me and still didnt acknowledge us. Its like we werent even there. We left upset with the resolution to never return. I regret leaving her a tip of $2.06. Check #:827597 Table: 74 Waitress: Jazmyne Q 7/13/2107 22:08:40

Dirty. Bad atmosphere. Loud. Food and service are just okay. Made the last minute decision to go out for dinner the other night and though Ive been at this Olive Garden before, I was shocked to see how far downhill its gone. We were seated in a small room that didnt feel at all like a restaurant, with no decoration or art, just plain and slightly ugly walls and tables. Basically, the atmosphere just wasnt what one would expect from a restaurant. The room was extremely loud, too, thanks to the other customers. But thats not the point - it wasnt only plain and loud, it was dirty. The floor in this room was carpeted and we could see dirt and bits of food all over the floor, as if it hadnt been vacuumed for at least a few days. It was disgusting. We were about to leave and find somewhere else to eat when the server greeted us, and only stayed because she seemed nice. The food was okay, but the fact that it was so dirty in the restaurant really made me lose my appetite. At the end of the meal, we paid using the little tablet-like device (not sure what they actually call it) they now have at each table, and even that was smudged with dirt and food. Gross. In addition to being so unbelievably dirty, the server was forgetful and our breadsticks didnt come out until close to the end of the meal despite asking for them twice and all of the other tables in the room, even those seated after us, having a basket of breadsticks. Wont be returning to this Olive Garden again. Actually, probably wont be returning to any Olive Garden again, as we only went because this location was convenient. But there are plenty of other local restaurants that serve real Italian food that we can go to instead - like Emmas Cafe, Cafe Michaelangelo, and Pasianos, to name a few.
