Menagerie offers some well priced drinks, friendly staff, and great air conditioning. The decor is great. Plain and woodsy in feel, there is always enough seating to chat with friends or get some work done. They do offer wifi, however it doesnt always work. The bathroom is the bomb diggity because the interior designer did a pretty good job. Nice spot in Old City, great for a quick grab and go morning brew.

The Internet is soooooo bad. And so frustrating. VPNs are blocked and I think bandwidth is limited per individual. Not sure but this kind of thing hampers my ability to get work done, and working from coffee shops is kinda my thing. Today was my last day. I regularly spend 10-15 and tip. Current rotation is now Greentree, Ultima, Peddler, Reanimator and Gryphon. Rival Bros is in there too.

Cute place and comfortable atmosphere. The baristas are really nice and helpful if its your first time. Most importantly the coffee is delicious. I really think its the perfect cup. I got a cappuccino and the taste is so smooth, no aftertaste just pure delicious espresso and steamed milk. You can also add your own vanilla syrup or simple syrup that is on the bar. Definitely recommend!

Customer service is terrible and the workers were not welcoming. The tall thin-framed male worker behind the counter who took my order was rude, and then later asked me to turn down my earbuds while I was working in the corner (they were not loud). I will never go back. Did not feel good vibes at all, which is unfortunate because the coffee was good.

Often crowded, Menageries summer claim to fame is its cold brew coffee. This, in fact is excellent. However, if youre looking for a place to stay and relax, look elsewhere in Old City. Seating is minimal, and, when available, often occupied by a MacBook. I would definitely suggest take-out only.

Coffee was okay, service wasnt. The young woman who made my coffee didnt say thank you or smile and there was no rush in the store. I was the only customer. Its okay to have punks as your employees but that doesnt exempt from customer service obligations. Thanks.

This is a lovely little spot, right outside the Gayborhood. The service was very friendly and I enjoyed chatting with a friend in their lovely little sitting area. The place was buzzing, but was not very loud. It would be a great spot to bring a laptop or book.

Nice place, but they ignore local coffee roasters, some as good as any in the US, to create a pseudo-hip vibe via beans that are trucked or flown in - hence less eco-friendly, sometimes less fresh, and totally non-supportive of local artisans. In short, meh.

Best cold brew in philly. The sandwiches are great but never big enough, but the blueberry bagels are definitely unique and filling. I recommend their sencha green tea as well. Its in a pot, and is perfectly brewed.

Best priced 16oz. cafe au lait Ive found ($3). Personable baristas. Almond croissant is much better than most others (made by Machine Shop). Clean bathroom. Interesting ambiance. Fun location in Old City.

This wonderful place was highly recommended from the Franklin Hotel, to which Im lodging for the weekend. Such a cozy, warm atmosphere. The staff and coffee are both amazing! I recommend the Moca!

Wonderful coffee, a great atmosphere to work in. Music can be a bit loud at times, but if you can move away from the speakers its ok. The staff is very friendly. I wouldnt go anywhere else.
