06/11/2011Would not suggest to anyone... one of my friends had a group coupon worth 50 dollars, when the server found this out service almost completely stopped at our table. He took our orders, the food came and 15 to 20 minutes later he finally came back to see how we were doing. Three of the four orders were wrong, which maybe I could understand if they or he was busy but this was not the case at alll. On top of that the burgers something that should be very easy to make specially since they use angus meat, they completely messed up. They put way to much salt onto the burger, which made it almost inedible. The burgers were way overpriced and it cost extra for french fries that were supposely hand cut, which looked and tasted like frozen store bought. Maybe, its becuase the night before I went to N.3rd and had an amazing burger with fresh hand cut fries for less money. All I can say is that Im glad my dogs arent to picky about thier burgers. They seemed to be the only ones who enjoyed cooprates food.

I havent had the pleasure of dining at Cooperage yet, but its definitely on my list of places to go next time Im in Philadelphia. My sister and I stumbled upon Cooperage last time we were in Philly. Unfortunately, we had just finished eating but the place looked so enticing from the outside, we just had to stop in. The front door host was so friendly and polite. He not only answered all our questions about the restaurant but gave us a little history on the incredible building the restaurant is located in (even though he knew we werent going to eat there). We were so impressed by his professionalism and kindness, we promised that we would come back next time were in Philadelphia and we will!

This place is amazing. Right in the heart of Philadelphia, its relaxed atmosphere and trendy interior is a nice place for lunch or happy hour on a busy day. I went here for a business lunch and, after 5 minutes of waiting for my guest to show up (ended up waiting 30 minutes in total), the manager had a hummus appetizer sent over to me on the house for me to munch on. The club salad was enormous, delicious, and ridiculously cheap ($9!) in comparison of the many other restaurants I go to for business meetings. My client loved her salmon cake sandwich, as well. Will take clients here again!!

So, apparently this waitress made a "mistake" charging me 25 dollars for cheesesteak fries, they cost 7.02 with tax! I am immensely upset by the way. That never happened to me before at all! I sometime go there for on Thursdays for their specials and a group meetup, and yet again... THIS NEVER HAPPENED! I better get my money back, because I didnt work hard for nothing at all to receive this! Should I tell you all NOT to eat there? Well, its your choice if you dont want to get mind-fizzed with your money. Bottom line, I am never going there again.... Unless I have cash. >:(

The place was pretty quiet on a Friday night around 11:00. Great prices on whiskey though...at least compared to other whiskey bars in town. The bartender who served me (Anthony) was very nice and was able to tell me a lot about the scotch that I ordered. If youre trying to find the place note that it is not at 6th and walnut as the address would suggest but on 7th about half a block up from walnut in the Curtis center.

Cooperage is a decent bar for the Washington Square area, with a decent selection of domestic craft brews that rotate regularly. The restaurant also bills itself as a whiskey bar, but Ive never really seen people take advantage. Their food just okay, although the Cheesesteak Fries are worth a trip on its own (but only if you ask for provolone). Overall though, its pricey with better options elsewhere in the area.

This was the worst turkey sandwich I have had in a long time. The turkey was so dry that the turkey must have died from heat stroke, and for $15.00 it was disappointing. The best thing was the pickle and I do not even care for pickles, Perhaps I should have had something to drink first. Definitely thumbs down on this one guys. By pass the turkey club, if you do go eat.

Ate here after a day at the Constitution Center. Great happy hour specials for both food and drink. It was early so the place was fairly empty. Was a little nervous as we had our kids 8 and 10 with us but found stuff they liked on the menu. The staff was very knowledgeable of both food and drink menu. Had an enjoyable time and would/will return.

The selection of alcohol is overwhelming! The beer selection was great. The food was awesome and the portions are huge. Everything is priced very fairly. I visited during a busy lunch hour and my server was awesome!

The food was great. Highly recommend the Mac n cheese, even though its tiny. The only reason it does not have 5 stars is those behind the bar were extremely stressed and showing it, but the bar was not very busy.

Ill return after my 1st visit. Just had drinks that were fine. Was way too loud, but will return to try the food bc it had BBQ ribs and pulled pork. So will need to try both and see how goods they are.

I had no idea this place existed until I went to dinner there. I had no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. The calamari came in this cute little fryer basket and the scallops were wonderful.

Good food, great service and very accommodating for the large group I arrived with - we ended up being much larger than originally anticipated but the staff there took very good care of us all.

OKay place to go for lunch. Its dark, and somewhat loud; but the food is a decent value, and the beer list is fair for a place in this part of town.
