Went on a tomato pie taste test road trip today between Corropolese, Marchianos, and Conshohocken Bakery and all three of us came to the conclusion that Corropolese had the best sauce of any tomato pie. Though the crust award goes to Conshohocken, Corropolese won the best taste honors and indeed came out on top as best red pie. It had a very sweet and delicious sauce thats laid on thick while Conshy had rich, dense crust that is savory, and covered in a thin layer of tasty red sauce. 1/4 Pie Price: Corropolese: 3.85 Marchianos: 4.00 Conshohocken: 3.60

All of their stuff is excellent from their rolls, lunch meats, sandwiches, tomato pies, cheeses to their assortment of out of store frozen pastas and bakery items. I know they dont make their cakes and pies there, but they will tell you they are not theirs if you ask and they are excellent for factory goods. Friendly family oriented staff is always polite and accommodating. If ever leave this area, the one thing I miss will be Corropolese Bakery.

There isnt one bad thing I could say about Corroplese!!!!!!!!! Everything is fresh, tomato pie has rich taste of tomatoes without the acid but not sweet, hogies on fresh Italian roll, meat delicious (all boar head low MSG), meatballs MUMMMMMMMMMMM. Their cakes and cookies, all baked fresh...... Just a great Italian store like when I was a child. I live 40 minutes away but make sure I find time to visit at least 2x per month...

I remember when my family moved to Montco from Delco. I had just made a new friend and she told me about a tomato pie. "What the heck is a tomato pie?" was my response, so she directed me to Corropolese and I was sold. I cant review this place for anything else because honestly I just came for their pie. They get crazy crowded on the weekends and sometimes are out of cerain pizzas so its best to call ahead before you make the trip.

AMAZING TOMATO PIE! Their tomato pies are always a staple at our parties. Be sure to call ahead and order one before any big holiday or sporting event. You wont be disappointed. Oh, and if somone asks you to heat it up or you catch someone putting it in the microwave, slap them on the back of the head and take that piece away from them. They dont deserve it. You eat it COLD and its delicious!

This is THE place to go for your Italian food needs in Norristown. I grew up eating their delicious tomato pies (cold pizza, if youre not from around here) at just about every birthday party and local sporting event. Order some fantastic home-made desserts or come for the Italian imports.

Staple to any party, event, or get together- casual or formal. After having Corropolese, I refuse to eat tomato pie from anywhere else. I cant say much about any thing else (Never had it), but Im sure thats great too. Not to mention the great price for such a HUGE sheet of pie!

Ok obviously the tomato pie is top notch. But the deli rolls and breads are just as great. Very kind people here will do anything they can to help and can tell its a family place. Dont hesitate to make it a monthly stop even great for in a pinch quick meals.

This place has one of the best tomato pies Ive ever had. Im addicted. They also make pre packaged pepperoni breads, calzones, and strombolis you can take home to heat up yourself. My favorite is the pepperoni, cheese, and sweet pepper!

Sandwiches were good, a little over hyped on the tomato pie. The store has a lot to offer though and great quality items. I think it might be a five star deli maybe 4 stars on the made to order food.
