As a bakery Im sure its fine. However as a cafe its frustratingly poor. Ive visited several times to enjoy a sweet treat and a coffee, however: the atmosphere is dead - no music. Staff arent trained in the use of the espresso machine - so that beautiful red machine sits there for no reason. Worst of all on the day I decided to pay cash, I was short changed by $10. I realised when at my next destination and called the ask them to check. They took my number, promised to count up immediately but never called me back. Sadly, despite living close by and in the need for over 100 gluten free cupcakes for a wedding, I wont be back.

The chocolate chip cookies are delicious & the staff was friendly, even an hour before closing time! My son has a nut allergy & I have several friends with gluten allergies & dairy intolerances. As someone who can eat typical baked goods, I would still choose to eat the chocolate chip cookies. As a brownie fanatic, I wasnt in love, but my little guy enjoyed it. This was our first visit & well be back. Thank you for doing what you do! The joy of being able to enjoy a bakery fresh treat, for people like my son, is one of lifes simple pleasures.

Omg. These guys saved my wedding when my GF brides cake got screwed up by the wedding planner and we had to scramble hours before the ceremony. They make dietary restrictions Delicious! Try the Fauxtess(?) they are an amazing knock off of a creme filled rich chocolate cupcake with chocolate icing. The Magic bar also amazing. The only cafe food I have had is the ginger carrot soup but it, again, was delicious. The staff are sweet and friendly. Cant say enough good things about this bakery.

This place is perfect. I am gf and dairy free plus try to avoid refined sugar and food dye. This place meets my needs plus. There baked goods are gf, egg free, they use plant based dyes, and sugar alternatives (coconut, agave, maple). Best part the items are delicious, moist, full of flavor. You cant tell its gf and vegan. Another great thing when I got coffee (which was delicious, french press) they had coconut creamer and sugar. I love this place!!!!

ok eggs are restricted for me. so am desperate to find a bakery which makes eggless cakes and I stumble upon this place. quite far from my place I still decided to try this place out. no doubt on taste this is the best eggless cake I have ever had so far but THE PRICE!!! off the roof ..... very very very expensive for a simple 8" double layer choc cake with orange frosting.... $77 !!!!

Love this place! I am gluten-free, my husband is not and we BOTH loved the doughnuts and cupcakes-he couldnt believe it was free of everything! We should have got more! The millet sandwich bread is awesome. Looking forward to a trip back and to get some fresh juice next time too!

Very good deserts! You dont have to be gluten/dairy free to enjoy. I do not have dietary restrictions (went with a friend who does), and I enjoyed their items. They also have their own cookbook for sale giving you ideas if you do have these dietary restrictions. Friendly staff!

It was my first time at Bryn Mawr and I was just taking a walk down Lancaster Ave when I decided to check out Sweet Freedom. The young woman at the counter was very nice and welcoming. I will definitely visit again the next time Im in the area!

This place is a godsend for anyone with celiac. Not a huge selection, but a tasty assortment of cupcakes (smores, salted caramel, yum), cookies, donuts and more. My go-to spot when Im looking for fresh, gluten free baked goods.

Ordered dinner rolls, cupcakes and doughnuts. They were fantastic! My son and I were finally able to enjoy dinner rolls and dessert at Christmas like everyone else! Staff were very friendly and accomadating!
