Went to brunch for Mothers Day with the family. Upon entering, there was a long line of people in the lobby. Not sure why, but had to try and get around them to check in with hostess. Waited 10-15 for our reservation. As we were being taken to our table, we realized the long line through the lobby was for the brunch! There wasnt really enough room between the brunch tables where the food was, the lines of people trying to get to the food, and the counter with deserts and pastries for us to walk. If someone was coming the other direction, forget it. Definitely not laid out well. Not sure if this was special for Mothers Day, or just really busy for Mothers Day or what. The food was great though! Didnt have one bad thing on the plate and everyone in our party agreed. Service was, well - about as poor as can be. Out waitress was very nice, but you could tell they were understaffed for the occasion. Not her fault at all. But there were several tables nearby (With other servers) that were flagging people down and asking if they had a server, or if they could get drinks, etc. Dirty plates were not cleared and getting drinks wasnt happening. Our server knew this and even covered a few drinks on the bill. Also disappointed that something as simple as orange juice wasnt included with the brunch. Really? For the same price, we usually go to the Radnor Hotel where even the mimosas are included! Funniest part for us was when my sister pulled up in a manual car. Valet had to chase her down as no one can drive stick, so they needed her to park it. Teca, if you want to last in Newtown Square, youre going to need to step it up. This is the fourth name change/restaurant in this location in maybe ten years. Hoping this was just a Mothers Day flaw, but if this is the normal brunch, be prepared. . .

I should probably give no stars for this restaurant, but since the food was actually somewhat decent ill give it one. I came here with 6 other friends, and we did have a reservation. We were seated right away, but they put us in this enclosed private room which you would think is a great thing bc we could all hear each other over all the ridiculously loud music, and people talking....but we were wrong. They basically put us in there and forgot we were in the room. They took an order for our drinks, and forgot some of the order. Finally we put our food/apps order in....we waited 45 mins for that to come out, and when it did everyone got theirs at different times. Two of my friends ordered the soup, but it came with no spoons...they were eating it with a fork and knife. I ordered the mussels...not sure why they even call them mussels bc they were super small. I also ordered pizza as my dinner and that came out with my appetizer. I wanted to wait until the rest of my group got their dinner....that took about another hour to appear so by that time my pizza was cold. Keep in mind none of the waiters came in to our room during this time. We had to get up and tell the manager. Needless to say the service here SUCKS, and that is even an understatement. The food was good. If you want to try this place I suggest going before it gets busy otherwise youll be waiting until midnight for your food like we did.

Very, very disappointing. We made a reservation for 7:15p.m. several days ago. On the day of the reservation, we received a call asking if we could change the reservation to 7:45p.m. we told them we could not because of other plans. We arrived at 7:05 and were told they were running ten minutes behind the reservation time. They asked to wait at the bar and they would come and get us. At 7:55p.m., I lost my patience and then a table was quickly set in the bar. This was not at all our expectation and not so much as an apology. There were three of us and between us, we had lobster bisque, Cesar salad, cavatelli, gnocchi and filet mignon. We all felt it was marginal at best. There are many other restaurants in the area. Try any one of them first. But that being said, I will say they got the valet parking right.

Horrible experience on mothers day. Even though we had reservations, we had to wait in line with, literally, nearly another 100 other people. They shuttled us through like cattle until our table was finally ready. After waiting about 45 minutes we were seated. The bloody Mary was watered down like it was sitting in a pitcher of ice for an hour or more. I couldnt drink it so I ordered a glass of white wine, but unfortunately it was served warm. The scrambled eggs actually had blueish curdles in them, so I made sure we didnt eat them. They obviously overbooked and tried to cram as many people as possible into the place. You had to watch where you were going or you might have been run over by the crowd trying to get to the buffet area. I will never go back to that place.

Waitress was incredibly knowledgeable, the food overall was really good. Im not a food snob but the risotto was a bit under cooked, the flavored was there though and it was still delicious. I selected this restaurant while searching far and wide for a unique place as we happened to be in the area for our sons hockey game. I will definitely come back if in the area again to try some other items. Remember always, your best customers will never care about the wait, they will appreciate the end result. Id rather drive 15 minutes out of the way for a quality experience than stop at a fast food joint. The experience is what I pay for. Thanks!

Interesting all of the negative reviews... We went on a Sunday afternoon - arrived to fidn out they were NOT serving lunch - BUT they sat us and served us! The wait staff was welcoming, knowledgable and attentive. The food was fresh, clean tasting, not overly seasoned but with great intense flavor. At our table we had the baked clams, arugala & shrimp salad with sahved fennel and crispy capers, lamb bolognase, and cavatelli with a smoky rosa sause. Pleasantly surprised!

Happy Hour menu limited but delicious. Courteous and knowledgeable wait staff. Downsides were; - Hamburger (delicious) and fries = $16 - Patio is 10 steps away from the bar, but no Happy Hour served there. (Wtf) -Too much prime seating "reserved" for an expected party that never materialized during our 2+ hour visit. These are mostly management issues. There are plenty of other Happy Hours within a mile radius.

11/06/15 dinner was acceptable, received an alert on my credit card the following day. bill was $99.00 left a $20.00 tip, credit card company informed me i left a $70.00 tip. I have disputed the charge and called the restaurant, spoke to Megan. She informed me Loran the general manager would contact me, he never did. Please check and double check your receipts

Went to Teca for lunch they never disappoint, the food was outstanding. Had the Burrata of the day and Herb Crusted Salmon. Our waiter was Ethan he was very knowledgeable about the menu and personable. Our favorite person at Teca is the Hostess Nadine she is the best. Looking forward to going back for lunch or dinner in the very near future.
