My family went to Copperfield Inn on a Saturday evening for my moms birthday. We had a party of seven including two 4 year old children. Our reservation was at 5:30 and we were seated immediately. First, my moms salad didnt come out with the rest and the waitress was no where to be found. Apparently, there was a wedding that she was also working in the other room. Our dinner had to be "pushed" ahead four tables, after we had been waiting for over an hour for our entrees. When our food finally came out one entree was missing and another was wrong. The manager took two desserts off the bill. A dinner that should have taken an hour was over two hours long. Not the greatest experience!!

Had a recent family wedding here. While the wedding coordinator was great and the happy couple had a great time which is most important I cant help but write a review stating my disappointment. My family put hours into baking a dessert table full of cookies (especially my 80+yo grandmother). The staff at the Copperfield ate the cookies that were delivered the day before the wedding (reported by head wait staff) so the dessert table was scant at best and missing the grooms favorite (and tediously made) cookie despite my grandmother baking over 8 dozen of that one kind. Unprofessional in my opinion.

Wow, Copperfield Inn at lakeside, just wow. I cannot express enough thanks for the generosity, support, PATIENCE, and caring your staff exhibited to make our comedy show fundraiser the success it was! From the planning, the changes, the setup, and execution, Sharon and the staff made this easy and fun! The room was perfect, the food superb - as always - and Skye deserves a medal!! What yall did was above and beyond and shows that you care about the surrounding community, and I thank you. Copperfield Inn; Great place, great food, great people, and an immeasurable heart!

It was ok. We went for the brunch and were a little disappointed. Since I dont eat breakfast food, it seemed to be the perfect solution on a Sunday morning. The only lunch entree was tortellini and chicken pot pie. There was also a small salad bar, a seafood chowder, and chicken salad. It was not worth the brunch price. Granted it was a buffet so the quality is always lower. Next time Ill order off the menu. Family enjoyed the pancake station, French toast, omelette station, crispy bacon, home made potatoes and eggs Benedict.

Outstanding lunch yesterday. My bother and sister and our spouses picked the Copperfield Inn for our annual dinner. We all had memories of this restaurant formerly known as Lakeside Inn. The current renovations are very well done, preserving all of the charm of this 200 year old location. The wait staff was extremely attentive and very knowledgeable about the Ins history. My sister and I had the crab cake sandwich, and it was off the scale great! I live near the Chesapeake and have crab often, but this was truly the best.

We went to Copperfield Inn for Valentines Day dinner and were extremely upset. We were seated right at 7:30, which was our reservation, and then sat there for an hour and five minutes before getting our appetizer!! Other people around us had been waiting even longer for their entrees and the waitress was very unapologetic and told us that "the kitchen was tied up with a dinner party right now" We were so annoyed that we got up and left. Will never go again and highly recommend others to pass over this lousy restaurant!!

My wife and I enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed. I ordered the seafood harvest with a lite chardanay cream sauce, it was fantastic. My wife ordered the homemade meatloaf and loved every bite, usually I have to help her clean her plate but not last night. Our waitress Cathy was friendly and informative. We had no room for dessert but was told most desserts are made on site, so we will leave room next time. Delighted we gave this restaurant another try.

I was extremely unimpressed. The food was not very good. The hash browns were greasy and very salty. The line for waffles and omelets had about 20 people in line waiting for one person to cook the food. The server gave me a cold, soggy waffle that was sitting inside a warming tray. Greasy French toast; it tasted fine, but maybe I just dont like greasy food. I ate a lot of fruit salad. If I want greasy food I can go to a diner. That was a lot of money for a less than mediocre meal.

Ive been to Copperfield Inn several times: once at lunchtime, once for dinner during the week and once on a Saturday night. Each time the food was good. The service was acceptable except on a Saturday night. The restaurant was busy and the wait staff and/or kitchen just could not handle the normal workings of a restaurant. And it got very, very noisy in the smaller rooms. If you have the bad luck to be near a table full of partiers, beware, you wont be able to hear yourself think.

Sunday brunch has a good buffet selection. The eggs Benedict and pork sauerkraut were very good along with the rest of the buffet selection from toast, bagels, fresh fruit, salads, and bacon :). The omelet bar can backs up quickly as they only have two cook pans and one chef. Pancakes are also fresh. The host was a little on edge as they were busy. However the wait staff was excellent. I would recommend this place for Sunday brunch.

Friday night and an unfilled restaurant should have been the warning sign. It took our waitress over an hour to take our order, and another 45min before the meal came. Apparently our order was put in behind a large party...maybe if she took our order in a timely fashion it would not have been so long-like a 2 drink comp. made up for the $230 bill, 20% required tip and a missed movie. Never again.

When we received the food, which took a long tim to come out, was warm and not hot as expected. The food was very bland and needed a lot of salt. The food was not worth the price. When we returned the food to the watress due to being cold she was not polite about it and made the experience stressfull instead of happy as a dinning out experience should be. We will not be returning.

We had dinner there for the first time last night and everything was delicious! We sat outside and it was great weather, great atmosphere & our servers were wonderful! There was 4 of us and all of us had something different and everything was equally good! Definitely going to go back, inside seems like a great place if your having a larger party with nice big round tables!

Have not been back to this place in a while and have no plans of going back soon! No comparison to when it was Dylans Pub. We used to go to their Sunday brunch and it was a little pricey but the food was great. Gave Copperfields brunch a try and was extremely disappointed to say the least! Basic breakfast foods and we all walked out disappointed, even my kids.
