Tried calling in an order and they wouldnt pick up their phones at all even though I called in during business hours. Then, they had only one person serving during the busy lunch hour and because I was alone I was acknowledged last (even though I came in first). To top it all off, they didnt even have the food I was hoping to order despite it being on the menu. It was a waste of my time and gas to go and I wont be doing it again.

Overall a nice place to have dinner. The decor is wonderful (large elephant sculpture carved out of wood is beautiful!). I had the Pad Thai for dinner, and while it was not a large plate, it was enough for dinner. The dish had no spiciness to it at all (as expected) , and it could have used a bit more flavor, but it was still good.

Ive had Pad Thai a few places and their Pad Thai is PERFECT. Not oily, and they make it perfectly balanced with bean sprouts, lime, peanuts, excellent! I called ahead for take out and service was prompt. They were very friendly. The restaurant had a good amount of people, nice atmosphere as well.

An average place with a nice lunch special for 8.99 . The food is not superb but never disappoints. The lemongrass soup is nice. Its a one man army restaurant same person seats you, serves, takes orders and even bills .A little rude guy ,but the mediocre food makes it worth visiting again.

Spectacular food, excellent tea, great deserts, and very vegetarian friendly. Many good choices for both adults and children, including no spice options. Food and service quality has remained consistent since I first dined here ten years ago, and prices are quite reasonable.

Had the Evil Princess lunch special ($8.95) with coconut chicken soup and the dumplings. All very tasty, but thought the main dish should have been spicier since it was listed at three peppers. Overall not a bad meal, and they did accommodate our party of 11.

Best Thai food in the Western burbs at very affordable prices. I often see Southeast Asian families here - - cant fathom a previous, unnamed reviewer who called the fare inauthentic. Btw, the actual name of the place is the Royal Thai Orchid.

The food was not hot (temp), it was extremely bland and we needed to add a lot of extra spices including salt to all of the dishes. It looked like they warmed up a frozen meal. Horrible service and most importantly the food is terrible.

Royal Thai Orchids food is the best in many states. Ive lived in Michigan, New York and Texas; none of their Thai restaurants match the delicious taste of Royal Thai Orchids.
