Ive been to Sapore once before and they have fantastic baked ravioli. This past time we went her, it was a group date. As soon as we get to the hosts stand, no one was to be found to take us to our seats, few minutes later, someone finally comes over to place us at a table. We were given our menus and reviewed our options, I will give them this, they have tons of options to choose from. It took forever to get A waitress not OUR waitress but someone to get our drinks. The OUR waitress finally shows up (it was not busy at the time we went) to take our order. She takes our orders and lets us deviate from the normal salad choice. She brings our breads and garlic knots out and spills the knots on the floor. No big, mistakes happen...however, the sauce in the bowl went up on her body, then back in the bowl when it slipped in her hands. She served this bowl to our other couple. She also dropped three garlic knots on the floor and took them back to the kitchen saying she would bring back three more. She came back, with two burnt rolls that had no garlic on them. She served our food, at two separate times. Our food was very good when we finally got it. After that, the service went even further downhill fast, The waitress brought us our check and it was $75.00! We saw she wrong us up for THREE items she shouldnt have! I asked her about the ring ups and she told me for the one item that she had to charge me for. Bread that she never said was charged, you dont OFFER someone bread if your going to charge them for it or you tell them its an additional charge! I asked her to see the manager, I spoke to the manager and he said it would come off...I got my new receipt, walked away, and saw the bread was still on there! I turned around, and asked the waitress about it again, she gave me attitude and said if her boss didnt take it off, that must mean i have to pay for it. I told her again, I wanted to the manager, this time she rolls her eyes and points to the counter and said okay...she then walks away. So I go to the counter, ask another one of the waitresses hanging around for the manager, he come up right after my waitress comes running back over to the register and I tell him again, about the bread, this time they both start talking in a different language and laugh, he finally takes the bread off. She then throws the receipt at my hand. I walk back to my table and give the new receipt to them. We found out they charged us for an extra soda we never ordered! Another item I would have had to argue about but chose not to. Needless to say the soda charged was her tip plus the two cents i left on the table. She even had the audacity to run out after us and demand an answer about her "tip" SHE THOUGHT SHE DESERVED. Im sorry, no waitress with attitude, eyes rolling or unwillingness to fix my check deserves a tip other than find a new job! Additionally, for all you safe food believers our there... there is no way this restaurant passed the "safe serv" program due to their UNSAFE handling of food. I watched them handle and prep other customers salads with their bare and UNWASHED hands. The did serve those salads to the customers when they were done.

My husband, brother, sister-in-law & I spent the day at Lehigh Gorge State Park. After a day of sight seeing, hiking trails & fishing, we were very tired and hungry. We went to this restaurant in hopes of a good meal. Needless to say, we were all very disappointed! I started my meal with the stuffed mushrooms. They were watery, and tough and they seem to have been cooked/heated up in a microwave oven. For dinner, I got the Shrimp Fettucini Alfredo and in my opinion, the Alfredo sauce tasted like nothing more then that of a jar of Ragu Alfredo sauce. The shrimp HA what a joke! I had a whole four shrimp on my plate that was completely over cooked and rubbery my meal lacked flavor all the way around including my salad which the blue cheese dressing was not very good at all. My husband got a meatball sub and he said the meatballs tasted like pre-packaged, frozen meatballs. He did however say his fries were pretty good. My brother got a cheeseburger that was nothing more then a frozen patty thrown on a grill and burnt to death! He could not even eat it but would not send the food back in fear of someone spitting on it. My sister in law got just the plain ole Angel Hair Paste with Red meat sauce. She didnt complain so I guess she liked her meal. Our waitress, Sarah was nice. However, we felt rushed. The prices were a bit steep for the quality of the food. We will NOT be going back there again!

If your from Philadelphia New york or new jersey dont go here your treated like 2nd class citizens here... Unless your Pennsylvania Dutch or u lived in this town your whole life.... Had a bad incident here with 4 other people who started with me and I finished it and I left not them..it left a bad taste in my mouth considering I was a good customer who would come around from time to time for wing night or pizza specials ....I just dont wanna go back there and deal with people like that ... I usually dont go to places in Lehighton because the food is half ass and so is the service and atmosphere like I said they frown on city people ....The food is not great its just convenient and close .....Well I will travel to get a better meal and friendlier service else where ....

Terrible service. We had a 12 or 13 year old so called waitress who didnt ask if we wanted water or bread. Who told me I couldnt order 2 drinks at the same time. I was ordering myself and my wife our drinks she was a childe. I am a 46 year old male that looks every bit my age. It was lousy so muck so that I decided to take my business elswear so thats what we did left and went to a real restaurant called dim n allys so b warned this place sucks I wouldnt bring my dog there to eat. Dom n allys was a great dinning experience with adult servers who no how to treat their costumers I highly recommend that as a great restaurant. So sad do yourself a favor and go to dom n allys on state rout 903 in Jim thorp much better service great food awesome.

Me and my wife stopped in tonight at 7pm for dinner tonight. We had traveled home from Roanoke,Va today and wanted to have a good meal. We ordered two appetizers,two meals and two drinks for a total of about $75 dollars. We felt rushed the entire time we were there,they gave me my salad before my appetizer. My wifes meal was over cooked,my meal had garlic cloves sliced a quarter inch thick. Our waitress didnt even come and ask us if everything was okay until 10 minutes after serving us our entrees. We have eaten there before pizza and cheesesteaks we were pleased with them,but I dont think we will eat a meal there again. I would recommend you eat some where else.
