BAT CRAP CRAZY
I was there for the first and last time yesterday.The place was busy and I have worked in the service industry so I am empathetic as to how things can be.I ordered baked oatmeal with fruit.Pretty simple but they gave me cooked oatmeal.So I told the waitress to please take it back because it wasnt what I ordered and to please get me some french toast.So I waited and waited until my group was done eating.I decided to say something to the manager and all he said was we are too busy to jump ahead of orders for your french toast but I took your oatmeal off the bill.I told him I wasnt going to pay for it anyway because it is not what I ordered.He was not very nice or helpful and the waitress just seemed to be annoyed.I realize you were very busy but I think you could have handled the situation alot better.Its not like I ordered lobster.If you had handled the situation better I wouldve returned.But since you didnt and I walked out of there not having any breakfast I will just tell my friends....dont eat at the Centerville Diner.

My husband and I went to the Centerville Diner for dinner tonight. Their menu is extensive, so it was difficult to decide what to order. We both decided on the GRILLED MONTEREY JACK CHICKEN. It was wonderful. I had a side salad, which was filled with tomatoes, cucumber slices, red onion slices, red cabbage and lettuce. My husband had the Manhattan Clam Chowder. He said unlike so many restaurants, this chowder was filled with large chunks of clams. The vegetables were fresh and delicious. Our waitress, Shelly, was friendly and very efficient. We will DEFINITELY be going back again.

I have been here multiple time and have always had a good meal. Everything I have ordered was always great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food service was all quick. I ordered and got my food in no time at all. Prices are very reasonable with large portion sizes.

Yum. The service here is speedy and coming here on Sundays for breakfast is always a treat. Their home fries are super good. When I come here with my boyfriend were always seated right away and dont have to wait long for service. Really like the homey atmosphere of the place.

If anyone remembers the Apple Tree before this place came around you will know right away when you come here how great this place has been turned around. Great food, friendly staff and calm atmosphere. I have been here many times and will continue to in the future.

Loved that the staff answered each my questions knowledgeably with delicious options and provided a place we were able to relax and enjoy their food. Spectacular presentation, and the bacon was perfect between soft and crispy. And the coffee was just right!!
