Never ever again. Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The place was crowded and we were a party of 5. Since the booths were small, we needed to split up, unless we wanted to wait for a party of six to finish. We took the 2 tables, Four of us asked for water, we got 5 glasses. My wife asked for a diet soda without lemon, she got the lemon. After we placed our orders is when it really got comical. My daughter and her friend ordered a BLT, and a turkey club without tomatoes and no coleslaw. They got a turkey club, and a turkey club WITH tomatoes AND THREE helpings of coleslaw! When the friend said it was not what she ordered, our waitress was dumbfounded and couldnt understand how that could have happened. My son ordered a tuna melt, my wife, cordon bleu on a roll. There was a single thin slice of what looked like boiled ham and the chicken was loaded with pepper. I ordered a turkey melt with french fries. I got a turkey club with no fries and half a pickle. Again, she couldnt understand the mistake and said they people in the back (staff) would be happy to eat it. I said it was fine and that I would eat it and she tried to make me feel guilty about it. While we were eating our waitress sat in the table behind us listening to our conversation and laughing along with what we were talking about. When we finished eating my wife asked me, loud enough for the waitress to hear, if I would get up and get her the dessert menu. Minutes later she came over a said for dessert we could have graham cracker and cream pie. When me daughter asked her what that was, the waitress looked at her with an "everybody knows what that is" look. We passed. When we asked for our check, we were given someone elses. (We should have paid that one as it was 20 dollars cheaper). We put our debit card on the table and the waitress said she would take care of that soon...except they dont take credit or debit cards! That would have been nice to know BEFORE we sat down to eat. While my wife headed to the ATM across the street, I headed for the car to get it warmed up for her. Neatly tucked under my windshield wiper was a parking ticket for ten dollars!!! ON A SATURDAY!!!! My recommendation...go there and try to beat that.

We took my father this morning for Fathers day breakfast here and it was a disaster. After sitting at the table with 2 empty cup of coffee for 20 minutes, we had to ask several times for more coffee, then the waitress brings the coffee pot over to fill our cups she pours it all over the table completely missing the cup. She never said sorry for spilling and didnt even offer to help wipe it or get a towel. Next cup she filled she just about dumped it on our cell phone sitting on side of table. Half our meal was serve 10 minutes after the rest of food. When the pancakes finally came out they were still raw inside. If that didnt turn your appetite, the hair in the pancake sure did. My fiance ordered a cranberry juice and the waitress brought him an orange juice. When we asked her about it here response was "year I knew that was wrong". We never did get the toast with my meal or the side of bacon. I asked very nicely to speak to manager or owner and got told for the second time "good luck with that". When I told them about the hair there response was "we have been having a problem with that". While I was trying to pay my bill one of the cooks yelled over to people trying to come in the door, "in or out we have the A/C on in here". This is not anyway to run a business. Im very disappointed and sorry we chose to ride and hour just to go to this restaurant for Fathers day breakfast.....

Horrible people own this establishment. Very unprofessional and cheep. If the food gets too old to serve they turn it into soup.their grandson brags about how he gets handed everything and brags about doing drugs. Carol treats her workers like trash and sneakily takes money from their checks unless the say something.Horrible place run by horrible people. Most the employees are very nice people, but owners are just cheep and tyrants.

09/26/15 - 11am. Terrible service, had to ask another table for their ketchup and their cream after asking the waitress 3 times, then waited for 10 minutes for our check. Food was okay at best, under cooked. We only came in because it said best breakfast in the Poconos outside on a sign, well its the worst, even McDonalds is much better, their coffee is actually hot.

First off, the booth was to small. We are not large people and we barely fit in it. We asked the waitress if we could move to an empty larger one...she said no. Then she spilled coffee on my leg and half the table and didnt even apologize. Then we look at the breakfast menu. No pancakes or French toast...WTF? Go to Muggs...way better all around.

This looks like a piece of Americana straight out of a sitcom. A classic diner with classic dinner food. Its certainly nothing fancy but they do a nice job with breakfast/sandwiches/soups etc. Its my favorite place for a quick cheap breakfast in the area

The service was horrible. Our server seemed miserable and took a long time in between each visit to our table. My silverware was dirty right off the bat. The homefries were disgusting and the coffee was definitely old. I would NOT recommend.

man this place was gross. "cleaned" the tables with the dirtiest towel and pretty much just smeared everything. table was sticky and too small for our party. super crowded so I was really hopeful for the food, but it was nothing special.

Servers are slow and usually in a bad mood. Burgers are the only thing I would get on the menu. The place is very dirty. The plates and silverware are sometimes dirty and they seem to get most food from either a can or frozen.

Food is inexpensive but good, and the servings are usually enough to stuff yourself :) Coffee is actually very good for a diner - Im what some people call a coffee snob, so for me to say this, its gotta be good. ;)

Compared to Fluffs, this place comes up short. It is almost criminal that a place like Hawley cant have a real diner bearing its name. Maybe this is where Jersey Diner rejects end up to spend their final years.

All American, All The Time! Classic diner feel and menu. A place were locals meet for the news of the day.I had the Belgium waffle one day and a simple egg, toast and sausage links another time. Yummy!

Delicious and well-priced. The breakfast specials were still in effect after 11am even on a weekday. Also the pancakes tasted like birthday cake!
