Chicken and waffles: need I say more? Well, I WILL say more: they keep the chicken separate from the waffles, so its up to you if you want to lump them together, instead of having that choice made for you in the kitchen. Personally, I like my chicken separate from the waffles and syrup. They also use a unique spice blend on the chicken that I really love and havent tasted anywhere else. Other offerings Ive had here (I stick to the breakfast stuff) have been equally excellent: omelettes, pancakes, etc. The staff is always pleasant, and the prices are reasonable. Expect a loooong wait on weekend mornings. Its worth the wait, however.

My family have been going here since 2014 Mothers day, last month we went there i sent my waffle back to doughy, went today, ordered fish and grits fish was cold, sent it back, second piece had a funny old taste. Wait is too long for sub par food. We stop coming for a while because of wait, now food is getting to become questionable. Staff turnover is at a high rate also. It seems that the take out part gets better service. Manager doesnt seem to gave consumers in mind.

It took a VERY long time to get seated. And there were many tables open, but not bussed and cleared. It actually got so hostile that there was an altercation in the line. The servers seemed busy, so it may be worth it to hire some bus people. It was a truly uncomfortable experience. Once we were sat, everything was better. Our server was pleasant. The food took a very long time to come out, though. Once it did, it was a decent meal.

Lovely local diner. Clean dining area (and kitchen from the two open doorways) and good food. Nothing overwhelmingly amazing and no seasonal specials, but what they make they make well. Staff is usually especially friendly and have always been patient and kind with our small children. It often has a line out the door on weekend mornings, but the wait is usually not too long--or just aim to go earlier to beat the rush!

I hate to say it but Im still in love with the place and Ive always had a great time even when its crowded but today, barely minutes ago, with just a couple of tables, I was ignored by the server. She must have been busy or something but I was not in the mood - and I was, I am cranky hungry - to see people around cleaning up tables as I was waiting for ice water and coffee... So sad because I love Cedar Park Café... ;-(

My children and I have breakfast here every Saturday. Their food is delicious, the service is friendly/quick & the prices are very affordable. A french toast and bacon platter is around $6. The only complaint is that its a pretty small cafe and it gets filled very quickly (especially on Sunday morning) but you can order your food to take out if you dont feel like waiting.

The service is subpar at best. Waited to be seated for 20 mins while 5 tables were vacant and cleaned. Ultimately, left to find breakfast else where. This place use to be awesome but over the years, its just gone down in quality and service. If I could give it 0 starts I would but Ill settle with 2.

The best breakfast in west Philadelphia. Cedar park offers no frills dining and affordable prices. They are also quick service and the staff is friendly despite it being early in the morning whenever I visit. I can highly recommend their chicken and waffles a dish that is to die for.

Great neighborhood spot for breakfast. You can dine in or take-out. Im so glad the owners rebuilt after the water damage their business incurred from the fire next door a couple years ago. The dining room is new and shiny and bigger than it was previously. Check it out!

Great place for breakfast. Huge portions, but the service can be iffy. Get here before 9 on the weekend to avoid a wait ☺ Theyre also in dire need of a dedicated busser. There doesnt seem to be one, and the lack thereof ties up empty tables much longer than need be.

loved the chicken and waffles here! the chicken is perfectly seasoned with a little bit of spice in the breading and the waffle comes with several pats of butter and a dusting of powdered sugar - such a treat! douse that baby with maple syrup and enjoy.

On my way RIGHT now... The atmosphere and staff are very accommodating. And the food... (I died) from the greatness in quality. If youve heard and havent been... SHAME. Get your life together and go and have a nice piece of heaven... In earth.

Food was delicious. Giant portions for the cost. Service was friendly but not terribly attentive. Were not high maintenance people, but the waitress forgot our drinks and our waters were empty until we finally asked for refills.

The manager is very disrespectful to customers. This is not the place to be. She got mad at me because I came in to buy a homeless man food. This is insane. Please dont come here.

Quick, (relatively) cheap, filling breakfast food with congenial service and lively atmosphere. No frills but it gets the job done.
