Just to let you know, this is a CASH only business. Dont let that deter you, support a local business anyway. York Street Treat has a nice variety of soft serve ice cream sundaes and blizzards as well as other frozen treats and hot food. I had the Butterscotch sundae and it was good. There was no whipped topping but I was just happy to find a place that still has Butterscotch. It seems they also have a feature flavor soft serve ice cream that changes frequently or seasonally. I didnt have any soup of sandwiches so I cant vouch for that.

This place is a Hanover icon. Has been around for many, many years. Ice cream is smooth and delicious, with many flavors and types of ice cream available (sundaes, flurries, shakes, etc.). Food is always great. Especially love the soft, chewy hoagie rolls and their french fries (which are thick and crinkly; not those skinny, greasy things they have at McDonalds!). Be sure to bring cash with you, as they do NOT accept plastic. Always have gotten great service, great food and spectacular ice cream there! A favorite place of mine!

Expensive and CASH ONLY. PARKING IS TERRIBLE!!! I wanted a banana split but I dont like pineapple and they wouldnt remove the pineapple from the banana split!!! Im editing this review, I havent been back in nearly two years and decided I would give another try because of the beautiful weather today on February 19, 2017 and they were CLOSED HALF AN HOUR EARLY.

Didnt get ice cream, got regular food. It was so bad I threw it away. The window person had a terrible unfriendly attitude, that was before I even ate the food. After dealing with her, I didnt bother going back to say my food was awful. Even the fries were bad. I will never go there again.

Great food! Great selection for ball park style food. Sandwich prep folks remember regulars by name! Faces a Little League ball park. No inside seating but there are picnic benches by a small stream. Friendly patrons. Been going there for 10 years! Yum! Small town America at its best!

Overpriced and horrible service. Ordered 2 ice cream sundaes which are small for price. Then the woman didnt put lids on the sundaes. Ended up spilling ice cream all over the car. Long line waited at least 30 minutes for a sloppy small overpriced ice cream. Will never go back!!!

I use to live going here when I was in the area. My last visit here will be my last visit. The lady that was working there treated me as though I was ruining her day. She was just a grumpy older lady. Iwill not give my money to a business that treats customers the way she did.

Our food was bland tasting and our rolls were dry. Our 5 year old enjoyed sitting at the picnic tables and watching a baseball game that was going on just across a small stream.
