We sat down and we ordered drinks and some guacamole for our tortilla chips and it was all fine and dandy. He brought our drinks but no guacamole and I assumed he was going to get it after he brought the drinks. We waited and then he came back to get our food orders and I asked for guacamole again to which our waiter replied "oh yes, of course! Im so sorry!" 15 minutes later still no guacamole. He came by to tell us our food would be out soon and once again I asked for the guacamole I had wanted and again the same response. Our food was brought out and still no guacamole. We gave up but when we got our check THEY HAD CHARGED US FOR THE GUACAMOLE WE NEVER EVEN RECEIVED.

Food was good but our service was terrible!! Our waitress was very rude to us when we had questions about the food choices and she was literally rolling her eyes at my 2 yr old daughter. She always had her phone out whenever she wasnt at a table and completely ignored the table next to us when they were trying to get her attention to get their check! I believe her name is Marissa but like I said, great food, terrible service! I hope Compadres will step up when it comes to some of their employees we will not be returning simply due to this waitress!!

The food was decent but NOT NEARLY worth the price you pay. For an appetizer, two drinks and ONE entree that was split it cost $30. Wow. I could go to a high end restaurant and get a steak for that price. On top of that, the service was awful. Our waiter checked on us ONCE for drinks and once for food. He was never around when we needed him. There were two other tables in the entire restaurant and two other servers on. At least get us drinks and refills for tortilla chips...It took about 10 minutes to get a box for our food. Worst experience ever.

Best Mexican fair that you would never expect in a mostly rural area of PA. This place is in what appears to be a large converted house down over a steep driveway from the main road. The food is authentic Mexican for Americans. Large portions and many options Im always between the chimis and the enchiladas wife gets smothered burrito. They offer margaritas and domestic and import beer and coke. Service is good and quick but the kitchen is quicker. Great place to stop that isnt a chain when passing through on 79 or going to the outlet mall.

We tried the food at the Grove City location of this regional chain and liked it. We had the Burritos Aztecas, the Tacos with Carne Asada and the Chori Pollo. Each dish had its own unique flavor with several hot sauces available to spice things up. Heavy on sauces and cheese, which might not be to everyones taste, but we were expecting an American twist on Mexican food. A great alternative to the national chains or non-descript familiy restaurants in the area. Worth giving a try.

I have always liked Compadres, good authentic Mexican food and fast service. Very disappointed with tonights experience. Waited over an hour from the time we were seated to when the meal was brought to our table. It was busy but no excuse for such slow service. Enchiladas Mexicana and Chimichangas were very good as usual but my wifes scallop and lobster Fajitas were very disappointing with the lobster tasting fishy and hardly edible.

A must try! A little bit down the road from the shopping outlets so its not immediately noticed, but be sure to check it out. Great authentic Mexican atmosphere. The food, service, drinks and portions are all top notch. Hands down one of the better Mexican restaurants we have ever tried. We are Canadians and make a point to always stop in when in town shopping.

My wife and I have eaten here frequently since they opened. It is a pleasant atmosphere with consistently good service. The food compares favorably with other good Mexican food found in Pennsylvania (having sampled Mexican food in at least 30 states, myself). The restaurant has been open now for maybe eight years, and the quality has remained consistent.

We went on a Sunday evening toward the end of the dinner rush. They had extremely quick service. Food for our party of four was on the table around ten minutes after ordering. Food was plentiful and tasty. The dining area and restroom facilities were clean. Staff was very nice, greeting us both when entering and leaving.

A group of friends and I were at this location this past weekend and our experience was AWESOME!! Not only were the margaritas perfect and the food very tasty and with great serving size - the service was beyond exceptional!! All the staff went way above and beyond for our group and made our trip!!

Compadres is a local Mexican restaurant chain that has generally excellent food. This particular location however, is in a building that last time we visited, has a nasty damp smell. The food was excellent, but the smell definitely detracted from the experience.

Absolutely loved it! The food was amazing the drinks were really good and the service was great! We were there for at least 2 hrs having a great time. They werent in our faces but they never let our drinks empty. Perfect service in my opinion!!!

This place has the best Mexican food I know. For the people who did not try this, you have to try it. It will be the best u have ever eaten in your life so try it. When I first tried this it was awsome. From then on I whent there every weekend.

The best Mexican food around with Huge portions. I ordered nachos with a double portion of shrimp and thought that the number of shrimp was generous. The prices might seem a tad high at first but youll be taking home plenty of left overs.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Grove City. Amazing food and fast friendly service. Kid friendly place to eat: they dont take TOO long making the food :) There is NEVER a wait and there is always a great drink special!
