Went in this restaurant with another three friends to eat around 9pm. We were greeted promptly and seated quickly. As everyone ordered one friend received an appetizer size guacamole and and upon tasting a small bit realized he did not like it,. We were appalled to find out that this tiny plate cost $7. We politely asked the waitress if it could be taken off the bill and she told us she would have to speak to her manager. Upon returning she told us that the manager had approved taking off the guacamole, but it was now appropriate to tip 25% and wrote the amount we needed to tip on the bill which is ridiculous. We will never be back due to this visit.

This one is going down hill. The food is usually great and the service is alright. We came here during cinco de mayo because they were giving away things. We never got them because our waitress forgot multiple times and theyre were then gone. Weve been coming to this one since we moved to the area from Melvindale and now you cant buy a pitcher of margaritas for one person anymore. I believe we will be taking our business back to the other one.

I love this place! Every time I come here, its great. The servers are all very friendly and fun, especially Brandon, Angie, and Sherae (I may have spelled her name wrong!). Our food usually comes out quickly, and is hot & completely delicious. The soft chicken tacos are to die for! The chips are always warm and fresh & the salsa is awesome, but please note they automatically give everyone medium salsa; you have to ask for mild!

We had a wonderful time at On the Border. The music was upbeat and the atmosphere was nice and up beat. Our server Jeffery, was clearly a professional as he was on top of everything our drinks our appetizers our food our to-go boxes every aspect of dining. Our food came out and quickly. The floor manager made sure he came around and checked all of the tables and spark up brief conversation his name was chewy and he was very nice.

Ordered some crispy beef tacos and they taste very bland and flavorless. The shell of the tacos arent crispy, but slightly chewy...something different than I had imagined. The beef is also comparable to something frozen. Honestly its no better than Taco Bell to me, which is pretty disappointing, especially for a restaurant. I dont even want to finish the other two tacos

At the restaurant as I type this. Ordered fish tacos and they where not good. Taste like frozen fish. Very bland tasting, chips and salsa was not what I expected salsa tasted like tomato paste and chips where like taco shells you get out of taco box at the grocery store. I have been to a lot of so called mexican restaurants and this one is not the best one by far

My husband and I decided to try this place and we ordered tacos just regular tacos instead we get the most horrid so called tacos whatever "taco seasoning" they use tasted so bad that I couldnt even made it through one taco (I ordered around 7). I wasted 15 dollars there to just learn NEVER eat there again.

This was a very nice restaurant with a friendly staff however I ordered the nachos and it was disgusting! How a Mexican restaurant destroyed nachos I have no idea. They should take that off the menu. I sent it back ordered something else that meal was great. The nachos were my only downfall.

Chips and salsa were awesome. Food wasnt hot. But, it was good/okay. The manager was supposed to meet us, but didnt. Bartender made the margarita different than requested. Waitress was excellent, but the food took too long. Not really interested in going back. :(

The order was ready on time, the staff was overwhelmingly helpful in loading my car, and the food was delicious! I have used this location for catering two times in the past two months, and both were absolutely fabulous! Highly recommended!

We have been here the last 4 weeks for taco Tuesday and while the food is really good the kitchen always seems to be in a state of confusion. The waitresss are always great and we had a free desert or 2 but still a little chaotic.

The beer was nice and cold but the three sauce fajita burrito was horrible. It tasted like a burrito from taco bell. The rice and beans were also nasty. They should be embarrassed to call that Mexican food.
