We had absolutely amazing cocktails to start our meal, and it is so hard to find a well-made Sazerac up north. The old fashion was also lovely. We started our meal with the deviled eggs, they were completely decadent. The eggs were loaded with blue crab of the best quality and sprinkle generously with giant chunks of bacon. Between two of us we split three small plates: the crabcake, the blackened shrimp, and the hot chicken. My boyfriend said the crabcake was probably his favorite - it was all crab with very little filler, seated atop a bed of fresh corn and topped with a lovely remoulade. The blackened shrimp was beautiful, and the cheese grits were so creamy. My favorite was probably the hot chicken, as it had a nice heat that didnt overwhelm or burn. My only critique is that I wanted a more substantial bread underneath the hot chicken, as its hard to just scoop and eat. And maybe a little bit more of the creamy sauce on the side? The pickles were divine! Our server was awesome, a young thin gentleman with a mustache whose name I cant remember (maybe Brian)? The hospitality was great and everybody was really friendly. This is probably our new regular hang! Thank you so much for a wonderful meal.

Came here on a whim because I was starving and it was close to a friends. Was more than pleasantly surprised. Had the hush puppies and the blackened shrimp and grits. Hush puppies were as they should be - crisp on the outside, savory-sweet and soft on the inside. The blackened shrimp literally made me speechless. I lived in the south as a kid and visited coastal GA frequently, and havent had shrimp and grits that good since last I was there. Wish I wasnt a wimp and could try the spicy Nashville chicken! A seriously great find in Philly. Five well-deserved stars.

Got a the burger and fries. Burger was a bit greasy, cooked right. Overall it was very good burger. The fries were large thick steak fries and were undercooked. This was ashame because the quality of the potatoes were good and just needed to be left in for a bit longer. Overall the food was good and for just opening im hoping for some improvements. I do recommend this to anyone near by.

Fantastic food & drinks. Not your average menu- only offering "Small Plates" etc. but worth it. Simply great
