1st off, the place had no heat...waitress was all over the place, when asking for our drinks she walked off...came back about 4mins later. Orange juice came back watery...ordered our food, wrong plates were brought to us...I actually touched and smelled the bread because I asked for blueberry muffins, wheat bread sat n front of me so I figured maybe it was some kind of blueberry bread. Waitress came back to the table and saw me smelling the bread, snatched up my plate and told me "you got the wrong food and this is why I dont let other ppl bring my stuff to the tables" she immediately took my plate and gave it to the table in front of us!!! She never asked if we needed anything, drinks, napkins, nothing!!! No syrup and no jelly!!! AND SHE STILL RECEIVED A TIP! Just not the tip she would have received! NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER! MY WIFE IS A WAITRESS SO YOU JUST MESSED UP A GOOD TIP FROM SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS HOW STRENUOUS YOUR JOB IS!

Great place to go if your expectations are not to eat. On Sunday, April 3rd, my wife and I went to Perkins, since our house lost power in a storm. When we walked in, there was only 3 tables with customers. We were first subjected to listening to the host and manager debate where we should be seated for a couple minutes. Hard to believe this would be challenging with only 3 tables with customers. After this we we were shown to our table. We sat waiting for approximately 5 to 7 minutes with no sign of any service or acknowledgement from a server. During our time waiting, we were entertained by arguing and singing from the kitchen. We than left the restaurant to get food elsewhere.

Food & Service was Great!! Was bothered by a customer who was allowed to bring their dog into the restaurant and sit at the table with them. This clearly was NOT a service dog...just her personal dog who she apparently could not be without for any period of time. Although we were able to move to another table with no problem, we should not have had to move from where we were originally seated simply because someone wants to bring their dog with them. There should be a clear policy that is enforced against pets allowed into the restaurant that are clearly NOT service animals.

We go to both locations. One is in Marshalls Creek and the other in Stroudsburg. Both have clean bathrooms and the wait staff are great and are bilingual. We prefer the Stroudsburg location over the Marshalls Creek location as one serves food faster than the other. Food is good at both locations anytime of day. We were disappointed in the free food for children on Thursday though. It seems that you only get one free meal per child per adult eating. That is not stated until your seated. Doesnt seem fair to either child or single parent with two children.

My husband and I were vacationing in the area, and we know we love Perkins back home. We came here for breakfast before starting our days adventure. What a treat! Our server was very friendly, courteous, and fast! The food was excellent as always, and the coffee was hot. We returned for lunch! We got a different server, but she was just as good as the first one and the food was quite tasty. If we ever vacation here again, I will most definitely eat here again! This place definitely gives the Perkins chain an excellent name.

I love this place. It is so quick and the food is delicious. The waitress and waiter staff are very friendly. They have reasonable prices as well. By the way, this is probably my first review. This is how much I really recommend this place. My waitress was Kathy. She sent my husband and I water with lemon without us even asking :). And we were just about to order the same. Love, love this place.

i EMAILED THIS COMPANY ABOUT THEIR SLOPPY SERVICE , NO UTENSILS , HAD TO GO TO DIFFERENT TABLES TO GET SILVERWARE , WAITRESS FORGOT EVEN WATER! THIS WAS FOR 5 PEOPLE , COMPANY NOTIFIED THE MANAGER BILL WHO CALLED AND STATED I WILL SEND YOU OUT COUPONS FOR YOUR TROUBLE , ( AS WE LIVE 2 HRS AWAY) WELL NEEDLESS TO SAY STILL WAITING AND WILL BE NOTIFYING COMPANY AGAIN ! Used the broom to sweep of the tables and seats. Aroma of old fish and sweaty laundry. The staff was way more excited to see me leave than to see me come in. They must of had a contest between each other who could sit down the longest or walk by my empty drink I did hear the one waitress say she works harder and longer than the younger staff. If thats the case... o boy

Went here while staying at tree tops at villa, waitress was very attentive, food was very good, had the kickin chicken sandwich & fries (fries were delicious), had chocolate French silk pie....not impressed! Only down sides were that it reminded me of a dinner & the cups were a little dirty! But overall good place.

We had dinner there last.night. The food was terrific and the prices very reasonable, as always. We had this waiter Tommy. A little tentative, maybe he was new. But he was trying so hard, trying to get every detail right, being very attentive. He was terrific.

They dont have Perkins in New Jersey. But my boyfriend and I go on weekend getaways in the area. Stopping in for breakfast is always a must! On our way right now for some baked goods! :)
