I travel over an hour to get macaroons & lemon ricotta cookies from Chocolate in the Oven. Everything is always fresh. My family eats the macaroons with sliced bananas and butter pecan ice cream; it tops any restaurants desserts. On my most recent trip to the bakery, I bought the banana cream ice cream to accompany my macaroons. I ended up eat all of the ice cream on my hour drive home. I couldnt stop at one spoonful. The ice cream was so flavorful; it really tasted like a banana cream pie.

This is the second time we elected to stay at this hotel. Its convenient to I-80 and easy to find. The rooms are very comfortable and the hotel is clean. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is amazing, with all sorts of gluten-free options and very good labeling of allergens in the available food.
