If I could give less than one star I would. First, after a long hot ferry ride, they have no AC.... Then I ordered a Sprite, I was brought Sierra Mist which is not the same thing. I asked if they had Sprite because I dont like Sierra Mist and I would have ordered water, however the waiter lied and said it was Sprite and then charged me for it! Lastly, ordered cheese fries.... Very disappointing. Big plate of mediocre fries covered in not melted shredded cheese. Cheese fries imply melted cheese sauce, not shredded cheese. No variety on the menu at all. The nachos they served came with your two typical sauces ranch and salsa, except the "ranch" was mustard and mayo mixed together presented as ranch. Also they give you cheap wooden forks that make it impossible to eat with. The bill was outrageous for just two items and it was totally not worth it!!!!! Terrible experience. Would not recommend!!!!

This place not only had an awesome staff, great atmosphere, it also used economic friendly napkins and boxes! The most amazing thing was the food! We had the ocracoke burrito, shrimp platter and beef tacos. The ingredients were the so fresh! The shrimp was locally caught, it was soon good I didnt even dip it in cocktail sauce which I usually would. The burrito was HUGE! It was incredibly good. It wasnt salty as I tend to think most Mexican food is. This place is grade A through and through!! I definitely recommend this to everyone who visits Ocracoke Island! I will be back for sure!!

At one time, it was on the top of my list for Ocracoke restraunts. Things have most definitely changed in the last few years. Theres an older female server that is very unfriendly and almost rude at times. Initially I thought it was just a one off but throughout my week stay, I heard others complain about her as well. Aside from the server, the food is OK but there are much better options on the island. This place is the nighttime hangout for all the younger locals and its obvious that its catered towards them.

Our family of 20 just happened to stop in this place because everyone was starving after the ferry ride and we were all so extremely glad we did. The food was amazing with very plentiful portions! The service was probably the best Ive had in years! The waitress named Gracie was very kind, even telling jokes to our table that had the kids at it!

Dont listen to all the negative-nance reviews.. those people sound way too uppity. Its a total beach joint with a great relaxed atmosphere and solid food. Come enjoy the best Baja fish tacos on the planet and some cold beers at this awesome low-key (read as a very high compliment) Ocracoke establishment.

Mediocre food for 5 star prices. Our group of 9 was stuck on backless old hard stools. My plain tasting cheeseburger was $12. Nothing appealing on the limited menu was cheaper. I would not be so critical of some roadside shack, but their prices warrant full restaurant scrutiny.

Fantastic food and great staff. They really made me feel like I was at home. Imagine a great big screened-in porch with a bar. Total surfer vibe, very laid back. They list the days catch, and which fisherman caught it. Be sure to get your picture with Plank.

Awesome staff! Great drinks! Not the "big bar" where you go unnoticed. Also had a koozie nailed to the wall where it joined others from around the world. All around great place to hangout, have a drink and enjoy some good food.

What a great find!!!! Loved the island feel and the food was great!! We ate there 3 times in 3 days. The dinner menu is great and also the Tacos were the best. Looking forward to visiting them again in the fall.

We came here the day after thanksgiving and they were out of clams (insert sad face), but the fried shrimp platter was excellent, as was the tuna kabob (a must have). Service was friendly and fast. Will return!

Great and affordable food. Service was a little slow even though the place wasnt that busy. Ordered bacon wrapped scallops for $10 and only got 4 scallops. Other then that everything was delicious.

Great atmosphere! We had a large party (40 or so people) all come in for drinks later in the night and the bar tenders handled everything great and the head bar tender made us all feel welcomed!
