My family loves this place... First let me start off by saying that 3/4s of the time we are there for the lunch buffet. The food is always very flavorful not just spicy hot like some other Indian restaurants in out vicinity. This is great because between my self, my wife, and my three children (16, 11, and 2yo) we always all find some thing that we favor in the selection. The rotating selections are great too. They offer different desserts and tasty drinks/coolers and we are always excited to se what they have because its always good. They bring fresh hot naan around to the tables when it comes out of the kitchen as well, cant beat that!

My wife and I went to Tamarind for our anniversary. After recently relocating to the North Hills, we had been frustrated at not finding high quality Indian cuisine locally. This visit made up for that! Service can be a leisurely - to be fair, the menu makes that clear from the outset - but the food is well worth the wait. Since this was our first time, we stuck to favorites (Chicken Tikka Masala, a simple curry and Lamb Naan). The quality was excellent - and next time, we plan to branch out a little into the less standard areas of the menu. And the price cannot be beat!

The weekly lunch buffet is very affordable and the selection is second to none. On Sundays the buffet is a bit better (as if that were even possible) and a couple dollars more expensive. On Sunday there is always a local dish which is great to try. In the evening, there is a regular dinner menu which is a little pricey. However, it is worth every penny. Watch out, they are closed on Mondays. There are mild and spicy selections as well as soups and salads. Never ending water. Soda and cake do cost extra. Vegetarian and vegan options available.

I am not from India, Im from Sri Lanka which is the neighboring country to India. This is the only place I find some taste that is close to my cultures taste in food. The people are friendly and the food is delicious. Plus they have a wide variety.. The only thing that keeps me from being a regular customer is the 45min drive which is simply impossible sometimes. I wish you could move to a place like butler or grove city in PA. If so I would always order take outs from you guys. However the food is GREAT... I love this place...!

Ive been to a lot of Indian restaurants in my life and this is one of them. On the plus side I had a white shirt on and didnt spill anything on myself and it was close to my hotel. The service was very good and very fast. On the downside Im not sure that the chicken in my chicken makhani was chicken. The flavor was pretty good though. Its not on the top of my list, but I would come back.

I ate here on two separate occasions while I was staying at a hotel nearby. Im no expert in Indian food, but everything I had here was excellent. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly balanced. I ordered three courses and the servers were very polite and attentive and brought each dish out in order. If youve never tried Indian food, this is the place to start. Try the Gobi Manchurian and the Kulfi.

We loved the variety of flavors in the five dishes that our group shared. Its great that the menu has dishes from a variety of regions. The Chettinadu and Gongura were both highly flavorful, delicious new dishes that we especially enjoyed trying. We also tried the potato masala dosa as an appetizer and it came with three delicious sauces. I cant wait to go back for the lunch buffet!

Went there with family for dining. Pretty good experience overall. Found preparation authentic, less spicy, and service was prompt and courteous. We ordered masala dosa and other south indian dishes. Dosa was one of the biggest, yet, evenly cooked and very nicely wrapped served with tasty sambhar and sauces. Will definitely visit again.

Wow. I cant agree more with the other reviews. Perfect food, perfect service. On point in every way. As an ex fine dining server I was impressed to say the least. The whole thing was beautiful. Get an order of bread of some kind to dip in the amazing sauces it comes with. Leaving now for my second dinner in a week.....

Very good place to eat. If youre with a group, I recommend talking through your order and then each having a taste of everything, since food is served in dishes from which you scoop onto your own plate. I really dont think you can go wrong with the food, but dont forget to order a mango lassi!

I still have to have dinner at this place but their all you can eat buffet is very good. Lots of options , clean and well maintained restaurant. One tip , reach early so its not crowded and you can sit , relax and eat all you want before they run out. Price is very reasonable as well.

Best food, great for vegetarians. Selection is not huge - usually 6 meatless and 6 meat entres in the buffet line. Salad, soup, chutney and a pickle. Or order from the menu. The food is always outstanding. Ive eaten here dozens of times, never disappointed.

Great food. I eat here every week. In looking at reviews. No reason someone should have left two stars. Unless they want their restaurant to rate higher. Seriously. Stop in and try it. Buffet style lunch service it outstanding.

Food was amazing no doubt but the half chinese looking (manager/server) was rude. I guess that guy said he was one of the owner. So, if thats the way a owner behave, then i believe this resturant is lacking something. "MANNERS".

Tasty Indian Cuisine with a variety of delicious lunch buffet choices. A fun place to visit for flavorful foods. The flavorful variety is a bit challenging for younger kids, though naan and rice are always available.

I feel one of the BEST Indian restaurant. Not in terms of the items in menu, but in terms of quality and freshness in food. If you prefer spicy food, you have to go with a-la-carte rather than buffet.

Went for dinner on Saturday night. It was hell busy, food is good but service was not up to the mark. My order came after like 25 minutes of wait. Food is good. Very limited choices in the menu.

Their lunch buffet is very affordable and tasty with lot of options. They usually have veg and non-veg starters along with 1-2 desserts in lunch buffet. Their biryani is spicy and tastes good.

I like the veggie choices and different size plates. They serve lots of chicken dishes and sometimes goat curry which my husband likes . Deserts are rich and buttery. Mango lassi is yum!

Naans are not Hot when we went for Lunch Buffet. Ideally Naans are very good when they are hot. What Tamarind does is that they prepare bunch of Naans and keep it in the serving bowl.

Got the lunch buffet, good variety of dishes, at least four meat dishes including goat! Not super bland like Indian buffets often are, very tasty. And affordable!
