The bar tenders are horribal, the main younger guy with facial hair will sit there and Ignore you when you clearly need service while he chats with his friends for long periods of time. During one visit I played one song on the Internet jukebox ( the only good thing about this place) and an extremely rude bald bar tender subsequently went over and proceeded to pick ten songs with his employee code instead of letting the costumer pay to play more of their choices. Would not recommend to out of towners or new in towners. Dirty glasses and all around negative experience multiple times. Might as well just go to applebees, its just down the street.

This place has been one of my favorites since I turned 21, that was 13 yrs ago!! The wings are THE BEST in town!! The beer is always cold and good prices. They also have a small dining area if ur interested in more of a sit down dinner. They also have a separate To-Go beer area. That makes for easier convenience. The place is small, however it small atmosphere allows u to mingle with others and get to know more locals in the area. The bar also has great football entertainment and specials.

Excellent food here. Great draft beer selection, one of the best restaurant beer selections in town with reasonable prices. Loses a star for the horribly small parking lot. You likely will have to park along a nearby street on a weekend night. Service has always been nothing short of awesome. Food comes out a little slow when it is busy, but that kitchen has to be tiny, so you cant expect much more. But as long as I have my beer, it is all good.

Only one waitress for 25 people. Understandably she wasnt even pleasant. The method of less servers to save money is not working here. Salad, french onion soup, and portabella mushroom wrap were great, but steak and ribs were not even worth the drive. I can burn steak at home. Never brought out waters. Decided not to stay and order more beers like we had planned. Could have been a great experience but service just plain sucked.

Great place! Was in town on business and this place was recommended. The staff was great and the food was fantastic. Had the ribs and wings....and they were definitely some of the best Ive had anywhere. Was there on the night of final episode of Sons of Anarchy....and they even made sure it was on the tvs in the bar so it could be seen. Will definitely go here again when in the area!!!!

Burger sounded wonderful in the menu, wasnt even close when it was in front of me. This place used to have a real down home family ambiance. That is what made this place so special. The sandwiches were named, there was charm and a story behind the place--that is the place I really miss. Now its just a plane jane place that has no charm, hence, no reason to return.

This place is great. It is a tiny place, nothing fancy but the food and staff are amazing! Had my sons birthday party in the dining room last night and it couldnt have gone better! Dominique is a phenomenal server. Would recommend the cottage to anyone!

I took my college student daughter and a few of her friends to The Cottage for wings and beer when I was visiting. The food was very good, the beers were cold and the service was friendly. Its the kind of nice local place I enjoy in a big chain world.

BY FAR The Cottage is my favorite places to go to unwind and catch up with friends when Im up in Chambersburg. I miss that hometown atmosphere and the kind staff Matt and Hailey were my besties!

If you go to the Cottage, you have GOT to try the Crab Pretzels. YUM! I love this place. Good beer and good food. Good place to get carryout beer as well.
